Now, onto the chapter.

And look what we got?

Some fluff and angst.

TW: slight mention of abuse, mention suicidal thoughts, mention of depression, some cussing (but that would be usual)

Third Person-

While Alex retreated to fix the 'fourth wall' somewhere, John went back upstairs, leaving the Schuylers having a talk, Laf and Herc cuddling watching news and Maria...disappeared somewhere.

He opened our bedroom door seeing Alex on the bed. He was setting up his new laptop.

"Hola, John." He looked up.

"Hola. ¿Tu hablas español?" John asked.

(T: Do you speak Spanish?)

"I did when I was a child. I must've forgotten most as I grew up in English and French." John nodded at his response.

"Spanish is basically my second language." John chuckled. "I'll go on for a stroll in the snow."

John disappeared to the closet and changed to an outfit suited for the weather.

"Watcha doing?" John arched an eyebrow at Alexander who was typing furiously at the keyboard.

"Searching on how to fix this goddamn  wall." Alex laughed.

"Alright. I'll be back in a hour." John saluted as he made his way out of the room. Alex soon returned it.

John closed the door of the Schuyler Mansion. A soft chilly breeze hit is freckled face.

"Burr-" He shivered.

"Did someone mention my name?"

John smiled to see his friend Aaron sitting at a bench.

"Yo."

"Hi, John."

"Hi. Congrats, bro. Theo is lucky to have you." John smiled as he made his way towards him, though not sitting down.

"Thanks. I've been wanting to do it for a while." He blushed.

"Well, I know for sure that y'all gonna have an endless happy marriage." John tipped an imaginary hat before turning towards the driveway.

He could almost feel Aaron smile.

John walked along the sidewalk. It was getting colder each minute so he thought some coffee or hot chocolate would be nice.

A near coffee shop came into his view. He quickly walked there to avoid any frostbite.

As soon as he closed the door, he sighed relieved to get that cold feeling out of his skin.

Not many people go to this café. John took a seat at a corner where the heater was the closest.

He made his way to the counter.

"What can I get ya?" The man behind the counter asked.

John recognized that voice. He took a look at the face of the man.

"Thomas?"

"John?"

John's POV-

"John?" Thomas voice rang in my head.

I froze. My face was full of shock, anger, and sadness. "Thomas." I growled.
