"I'm scared."

"It will be alright, Lex."

"John, it's been nearly a year since I fell!"

"Yes, I know.." John sighed. "We've tried and we will keep trying."

"But..I can't remember anything," Alex sobbed.

"I promise, Alexander," He smiled weakly. "you will get your memory back. Not matter what it takes."

"Really?" He sniffed, looking up at John.

"Really."

"Thank you, John. I don't know where I would be without you," He said, smiling.

"Me neither," John chuckled, embracing Alexander.

What John didn't mention was that he himself was also scared.

Occasionally, Alex would wake up in the middle of the night from a nightmare. He would wake up John and usually ask him for company.

But nothing.
Not a single trace of memory slipped it Alex's mind.

John was scared.
It's been so long.

Will Alex ever get his memories back?

"Agh!" Peggy groaned, throwing a ball of yarn to her bedroom wall. "I should've covered criminology! It could be really helpful now."

The girls, Maria, Theodosia, Sally, and the Schuyler sisters were all gathered at Peggy's room, discussing about any possible suspects of the crime.

"Calm down, love," Maria said, standing up from the bed and walking towards her girlfriend. "We'll figure it out eventually."

"How are we supposed to figure it out if all that ever happened to Alex involving his amnesia was the date and place where it happened!"

"He never experience any memory gain, right?" Eliza asked. "He should be getting some now..."

"Stop being so nerdy, Eliza-"

"It's helpful," Sally defended her. "She works as an intern, remember?"

"Okay, okay," Peggy said. "But, still. He hasn't told us anything."

"Maybe he's keeping something.." Angelica muttered.

"Alright, Lex. I'll just be at my job interview then I'm coming straight-"

"You're gay," Alex giggled.

"Not what I meant - but yes, I am," John grinned, fixing his suit. "I'm coming home directly after it. And you're not going outside-"

"I'll be fine, John, I promise nothing's going to happen to me," Alex said, giving him a smile.

John sighed, "Alright. I just want to keep you safe."

"Okay," Alex mumbled. "Just go to your interview, I don't want to keep you late."

"I will. But first, how do I look?" He asked.

"You look pretty decent," Alex admitted.

"Thanks," John grinned. "Now, I'll be off — AND DON'T BURN DOWN THE KITCHEN — and sTay aLive."

"Alright, alright, now go!" Alex said, ushering John out the door.

He sighed, and went towards the kitchen to try to cook ramen.
