FINALLY MY LAZY SELF UPDATED!

Alex's POV-

"Jooohhnnnnnnn," I whined. "Where are we going?"

It had been about a month since we came back to New York.

I did miss South Carolina, since I wanted a much warmer place, but I love New York.

Except the fact that it snows.

John and I were going up the stairs, me being blindfolded, like we did about 3 and a half years ago.

"Nearly there," He said, leading the way. "Just follow me."

"What's this? A reenactment?" I snorted.

"Maybe..."

"Hold up — what?"

"You'll see."

"But I'm tired already!"

"Lex, we just started. I could still see the first floor."

"Oh." I frowned. "Where even are we?"

"Somewhere."

"Somewhere up there. It's so tall!" I groaned. "Whatever this place is, I'm not made for it. Blame my shortness."

"The elevators are broken. Blame it."

I laughed, but then stopped. Being serious, I said, "But, I can't walk, climb, whatever, anymore further."

"Well then," John started. "I'll have to carry you, my prince."

I blushed, "Seriously, John, I — JOHN, PUT ME DOWN!"

John pulled me up, and started carrying me, bridal-styled. I held on tight to his shoulder, as he ran up a few more steps. I closed my eyes tight, which made no difference, as I was blindfolded of course.

"What floor are we in?" I asked, as John pulled me along what seemed like a hallway.

"Fourth. I just hope it doesn't break like the wall." He lightly chuckled.

"Yeah — oh, are we here?" I asked, as John stopped.

"Yep!" He chirped. "Now, when I say the signal, remove your blindfold."

I raised an eyebrow in confusion, but John couldn't see it because, well, you know why.

And I could hear the distant popping of disappearance of the fourth wall, yet again and the fumbling of keys.

I assumed John was opening the door, or at least, trying to open it. It took about a minute until I heard the soft clicking of the door opening.

"Now!"

I pulled off the blindfold, thankful to see again. But, I still winced at the sudden exposure of light to my eyes.

Where was the light coming from?

We were standing by the door of what seemed like an apartment.

"John..what is this?" I whispered, taking in the what I thought was the living room.

The light that nearly blinded my eyes came from a wide window, opposite to the door. It was draped with yellow curtains.

The ivy-colored walls gave a sense of home. It matched the empty white bookshelf on my left. Just in front of it stood a beige couch. Both stood opposite from the flat screen TV. Between the couch and the TV was a rectangular glass table.
