I'M SO SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED!
Third Person's POV-
John's once red face with anger turned white.
This was not what he wanted at all.
The mystery man who pushed Alex off the fire escape ran down the stairs, two steps at a time. John frowned, his eyebrows furrowed, and ran down the stairs in hope to catch him.
Unfortunately, the man had a faster pace than John and reached the landing before him. Panting, he tried to run after the man, but he was too tired and there were more important matters.
Such as Alexander.
John ran back to Alexander, who was lying on the ground, unconscious and cold. Half of his face was covered with blood. There were cuts everywhere, due to the rough pavement, and bruises.
John, panicked, struggled to dial 911 as his hand was shaking violently and tears slowly fell out of the corner of his eyes, even though it was only 3 digits.
Finally, he was able to press the dial. He waited anxiously, trying to keep calm.
Except, how do you keep calm when someone's life could flicker out like a flame any second?
And then the ringing stop, and a voice
"911, what's your emergency department needed?"
John took a shaky breath and said, "A-Ambulance. N-Now. At [insert location]. Please. Be quick. And uh, p-police department."
"Of course. We'll be there as soon as possible. Please stay calm."
John kneeled beside Alex and cried.
He thought it was his fault."I-I'm so sorry, Lexi." He sobbed.
"T-This is all my f-fault."He tried to wipe the blood from Alex's face with the sleeve of his sweater, when he finally heard the loud ringing of an ambulance.
"S-Stay alive..." John whispered, kissing Alex's forehead.

"What if he won't make it?" John asked, pacing around the waiting room.
"He will. I know he will.." Eliza mumbled, curling up on a chair.
"He's strong. He's escaped death 2 times, mon ami," Lafayette smiled sadly, patting John's back. "He could do it again."
"But what if death thinks third luck's the charm?" John asked worriedly, continuing to pace. "What is he dies?"
"I can't believe I'm saying this," Thomas muttered. "Hamilton needs to live."
"And I thought you loathed him at Freshman year." Peggy laughed, trying to make the mood better.
"I did. And I still kinda do." Thomas frowned.
"He's gonna live.." Hercules whispered, his head in his hands. "He has to live.."
"Or else I'm never gonna be a flower girl!" He cried.
"Seriously, Hercules." Angelica sighed, running her fingers through her hair.
"But yes, you're right for one thing.""Is he okay? What happened to my son?" A disheveled, but worried-looking James Hamilton Sr. blasted through the doors of the waiting room, his eldest son following behind.
"Is Alexander alright?" James Junior asked.
There are so many James' in their world.
"We're not sure. It's been probably 10 hours, they haven't reported anything yet—" Angelica started.
