Alex's POV-

I woke up to an unfamiliar place, until I recalled the memories from last night.

I smiled. I took in my surroundings.

Okay... We're still in the treehouse. In what I think is a makeshift bed.

I look at my right.

Bean bag, a few drawings of the friend group...

I look at my front and see the New York City view and some trees.

And I look at my left-

John....

-and blush.

John was beside me, smiling, snuggled up at my left arm.

I tried my best to stop cooing at the wonderful beauty beside me.

I check my phone, which was still at my pocket, for the time and see it was 10 to 7.

I felt John stir beside me and flutter his eyes open.

"G'morning, John." I smiled.

"G'morning, Lex." He yawned, then blushed at our position. He dug jis head deeper into my chest, attempting to hide his blush.

"Cute." I stretched my arms. At least, I tried to, since John was on me. "C'mon. The others might be looking for us."

John went into a sitting position and nodded.

We made our way down the treehouse, John going down first. Once he reached the bottom, I placed my left foot on the ladder-

And hanged my dear life to it.

I've never really been afraid of heights, but the fact of falling down from such a tall tree scares me.

"Alex?" John asked. "Come on, it's not that high."

You calling 25 feet not high?

"I'll catch you!"

"IT'S FUCKING 25 FEET HIGH!" I screeched.

"Trust me!"

"You're the only person I trust." I mumbled.

"COME ON PEGGY MIGHT BE FINISHING YOUR 2ND CAKE!"

2nd Cake?
Nothing stops Alexander Hamilton from getting cake.

Nothing. 

"Oops." He said, realising he spoiled the surprise.

"Catch me!" I let go of the ladder and let myself fall, giggling like a maniac who just fell from a 25 feet high treehouse.

Me.

I felt John's arms catching me, bridal-style. I opened my eyes and immediately blush.

We were so close to kissing again.

John softly chuckled and set me down at the ground. 

"Now." I said, regaining posture. "LET ME HAVE CAKE!"

I ran back to the dorm, John laughing behind me along the way.

-time skip because walking is boring rn-

Soon, the whole squad, now including Sally, Thomas, and James, were in our new Junior Penthouse.

"So." Angelica, being the one who seems like the most leader-like, said. "Who'll be rooming with who?"
