LOVE SO PASSION

PROLOGUE

Year 1996..
Dr Elijah and his beautiful family of two, his wife Charlotte and his ten year old son are in their vehicle in an elated and happy mood as they are just coming back from an intimate holiday.

Actually this was the twentieth wedding anniversary of Elijah and Charlotte...their marriage has not been a sweet one earlier on based on the fact that they were termed barren, pressure came from every angle upon Elijah to take another wife but he solemnly refused and stayed firm with her.

It was an unexpected and unexplainable miracle when she told him she was pregnant on their tenth anniversary week...

But this wasn't about the past,this was celebration for what God has always done for them.

Arriving at a spot were a ghastly motor accident has taken place Elijah comes down to check but that was after Charlotte told him to be careful and not to be too involved in the situation.

It was a sore sight but Elijah being a compassionate man always willing to help made inquires, He was told that a couple was involved in an accident and that their little daughter was being rushed to the hospital he asked about her parents sadly the individual he was talking with made him understand that they died instantly at the spot but when rescuers and concerned citizens had ran to do something about the situation they only found their daughter unconscious but alive.

At that moment he saw her being carried into the ambulance he was filled with sympathy and so much compassion for her. Rushing back to the car he just turns on the ignition and drives off.

Few minutes later they were in the hospital, already Charlotte had asked him a thousand questions but he had promised to tell her everything at the hospital patient enough but agitated she waited until he was ready.

Rushing in to the reception hall with his confused and concerned wife and son Elijah asked the nurse at the reception desk about the little girl that was brought in she answered him but that he couldn't see her now as she was rushed to the theater for an operation, solemnly he asked how old she was confused the nurse said I don't know Sir maybe two year old, thanking her he turned and walked back to were Charlotte sat.

Taking a deep breath he tells her everything overcome with ache she embraces him with tears right there they decided to adopt her..

And that they will allow her grow up and decide for herself to change her name, leaving her last name will be an honour to her late parents. Not long the doctors came out of the theater they both approached him to talk about the little girl..

They were made to know that her name is SOFIA JOHNSON, two years of age. The chief surgeon has known her family for years and was full of pain for such a loss and after much discussions and decisions he entrusted SOFIA to them.

As the adults conversed ELVIS was drawn to the room were SOFIA was kept looking at her through the window an unbreakable bond was forged between them but he was the one who created it as a tear streaked down his eyes.
