In the other room Naira had finished getting Siya ready..
"chalo lets go show everyone how pretty you look in this dress you know baby my sari and your dress matches" she smiled and lifted her up in her arms. She went over with her back to Preeti's room,
"Siya is ready and.. she said excitedly but when she looked up and saw Preeti dressed in her sari she trailed off.
"wow Siya you and mumma are matching" said Urmilla taking Siya from Naira.
"Naira you too should get ready here.." Naira felt upset she had her heart set on wearing this sari but what could she say, she had no status in front of people like Preeti, she just had to bite her tongue, the sari she handed was golden black type also beautiful.
"how is this sari looking on me..great na.."
"ma'am I...?"
"aree you still here, take this sari get changed in Siya room Kartik will be here very soon!
"Siya come to mumma" Urmilla gave her to Preeti.
"Didi click mine and Siya photo we both are matching" she smiled. "of course?" Urmilla went to click
"ma'am the blouse is quite revealing"
"what?" come on Naira you are young all girls wear it nowadays its not big deal..stop making a fuss and get changed!
"smile for the camera" said Urmilla as she clicked Siya and Preeti, all ignoring Naira. She took the sari and went to get changed. "I'm alittle shocked you gave that sari for her to wear its not exactly cheap"
"sis I gave but it's the cheap knock off not to mention it's easily ripped" she smiled cunningly
Shortly Kartik came looking handsome in a navy blue suit.
"Ladies ready? come on we are running late!" he said taking a glance at his watch, everyone was in the kitchen. "we are coming" said Preeti. Naira came in to the hall holding Siya, and saw him he looked so gorgeous in the blazer,but Kartik looked at her confused.
"what's this.. where is the sari I bought you?" he asked
"Here" Preeti came from behind followed by Urmilla.
"It suits me better don't you think and Siya has the tendency of being sick so its better she wears this sari and I wear this na" Kartik rolled his eyes.. he was very irritated with Preeti's attitude.
"whatever get in the car where getting late" Kartik glanced at Naira, her hair was open as it usually is but this time a side parting. Her makeup was done perfectly, with eye liner enhancing her beautiful eyes, some blush and magenta colour lipstick but something was missing
"wait where is your jewellery.. Preeti what's this you didn't borrow her?"
"what I'm not responsible for her, if your so concerned you deal with it" Kartik ran his hand through his hair. Its fine sir" she replied she didn't want to cause any trouble.
"its not.." he mumbled Naira started to walk passed him with Siya. "wait" he stopped her Preeti take her" he took Siya from Naira. " in the car..."
"but I.." Preeti tried to protest but Kartik wasn't interested.
"Just do it!" She took Siya.
"And you" he turned to Naira and held her hand. "Come with me" he ignored the others and pulled her hand roughly.. "sir I.. "but he didn't listen, he made her climb the stairs she tried to keep at his paced but being in a sari it was difficult as it kept coming under her feet. She almost slipped reaching the top, her hand clung to his shoulder at the fear of falling. He noticed and instantly wrapped his right arm around her waist and pulled her up with his upper body strength lifted her off her feet .skipping the 2 steps, then he placed her back on the floor. He held her hand again. "come" he didn't look at her once, he took her to Preeti's room shut the door and turned to her.
