today's the 13th of February my birthday
but it doesnt feel much like my birthday.
I've been waiting for y/n just to show up at my door and say 'surprise',but it never happens..
I lay in my room just thinking about that night and my mind wondered
gasping I get going into my closet and pulling out my board that had all sorts of strings so I can maybe price together the puzzle
I examined it and groaned
"fuck I already had that idea, it's already on the board"
y/n's disappearance consumed me. she wouldn't of just left or ran away
Y/n's case was filed 'runaway
I know for damn sure it wasn't but everyone else does
"mattia, Kairi's here!"

I heard his footsteps sun up the stairs so o quickly grabbed the board and put it back in my closet just in time too cuz when my
closet door closed my room door opened  revealing Kairi and a birthday gift
"Happy birthdayyyyy Tia!"
Kairi pounced on me making us laugh
"how does it feel to be 18"
"shit" I laughed
mattia looked around
"you clean or like--?"
"oh shut up" I laughed but looking around I did see I have a mess
I shake it off "when's ale coming?"
"he said he was 5 minutes away and alvaro is coming later he still has a flight to catch"
I nod and yawn
Kairi looked at me and the yawned too
"nap date" Kairi said in a high pitched voice
"you know it" I say basically already laying down
and that's what we did we took a nap until I woke up seeing alvaro and ale on the floor
sleeping too
"oh what the fuck?"
"shut uppp" Kairi said
ale looked up at me and saw me yawning he said "oh hey"
I laughed and wake Kairi "what broo"
Kairi saw and laughed
"man's when you get here?"
"i got here like an hour ago alvaro got here like 30 mins ago"
then everyone woke up and we all just started talking and messing around
"guys come down!!" my mom yelled
"oh noooo" I cried
ale laughed "were gonna sing happy birthday to the dinosaur birthday boy"
Kairi laughed
"shut the fuck up ale, you too 5'4" I chuckled

after they sang me happy birthday- which was awkward by the way- it was time for presents
alvaro gave me a pastel tealish hoodie and Kairi have me LED lights and ale gave me a silver chained bracelet
my mom came over hugging me and kissing me and gave me a new gaming console and my brother gave me a new game
Last came my dad he smiled at me and threw me a tiny white box I smiled and opened it pulling it out I started at it

my face grew pale and shocked

it was y/n's promise ring...
