it was Christmas! one of my favorite times of the year. this Christmas I spent with mattia's family.
mattia and I have been best friends for as long as we could remember and before anyone asks we've never liked each
other, except for that time in the forth grade
I giggled remembering mattia asking me to be his girlfriend with a ring pop and I said ask me when we're in high school...
well we're in high school..
I'd be lying if I said I don't like mattia what's not to like he's so sweet dating don't even forget cute, but I didn't think he'd like me back so I gave up on that dream..
I snapped back to reality when mattia slid me a black box
he smiled and I looked at it confused
"just open it scaredy cat"
I laughed and opened the box a ring a diamond ring I looked at it in awe
"mattia-"
"wAiT- on the inside of the promise ring it has your initials"he smiled
and he was right it did It said my initials in small bold black letters
I started to tear up
"thank you mattia I love it"
he smiled big and I went over hugging him after our hug I just lingered on him which was normal because we'd do it all the time
The day went on, we watched mattia's family open their presents, but I felt a tad uncomfortable when I saw mattia's dad staring at me
I nervously laughed and fell back on mattia hoping he'd wrap his arms around me which he did
we ended up falling asleep and mrs.polibio
took pictures of us. like always

around 4 pm mattia woke me up saying that the guys would be over I smiled and said "ogey"
"mattia hunny look at the message I sent you"
mattia furrowed his brows opening the text from his mom laughing and blushing uncontrollably
"whattttttt"
mattia turned his phone around and showed me
"oh" I blushed
"i-im sorry about her. s-she-"
"its okay tia, it's cute" I smiled
he looked at me and we just stared at eachother
"can I post it?" mattia asked
"yessss tia" I giggled

I look up from my phone looking at mattia making eye contact with him
I couldn't help but smile uncontrollably
seems he could either.

"okay baby, bye y/n come by soon"

Mattia playfully rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand he opened the car door for me and when we got inside one of my favorite songs played

those lyrics remind me of mattia cause I love spending my time with him.. there really isn't no place is rather be.

mattia's car soon came to a stop so we both hopped off
"thank you tia" I smiled
"hey no problem"he said blushing
mattia and I just stared at eachother mattia started to lean in so did I and our lips touched
I had kissed mattia polibio and I loved it
"goodbye tia"
"goodbye beautiful"

I started reading up seeing this ring
"w-where did you get this?"
"the store bud"he laughed "i hope you like it" he smugly smiled
"yea" was all I could say
The boys exchanging glances looked at me Kairi looking at me the most "I'll be back bathroom break" he laughed
my mom came to my side hugging me "Happy birthday baby"
in a fake smile I said "thanks ma"
"okay you boys go up to mattia's room" my mom said
and that's what we did we walked up to my room
I opened my door and my face dropped
"care to explain mattia?"

it was the mystery board I had stashed in my closet for y/n's disappearance..
