their expression on their faces told me they were feeling an overwhelming amount of emotion

I could see alejandro with a grand smile
Kairi seemed shocked but his smile eased in
alvaro was so speechless that he started to jump
"the fuck alvaro?" i laughed
"sorry it's just...its like 5th grade all over again"
I look down smiling at the memory

-flashback-
*kairi*
I stood beneath the playground structure and looked at my prisoners while I walked back on forth
-we loved to play cops and robbers it was one of our specialties.

in front of me I see Kairi, y/n and alvaro the only one left to be caught was ale.

"mattiaaa you can't camp here! that's against the rules!"
Kairi's squeaky 10 year old voice rung

other kids were running around and on the top of the playground so it was hard to make out where ale was till y/n bursting into laughter
I turn her way seeing Kairi and alvaro have been set free
"whatttt? how?!" I screamed
I look at y/n in disbelief till I see her shoulder get tapped signifying she was set free.
I chased after her, there was alot of kids
I ended up collapsing too the floor grabbing My leg in pain
"omg tia!!" y/n screamed out running towards me then came Kairi
followed by alvaro
and last ended with alejandro
I started to tear up and grab my leg
"tia u okay?" ale asked
"we can stop playing if it hurts to much!" alvaro pitched in
"boo hoo get up you dino" Kairi laughed
while y/n just kept a conceding look on her face, but in one swift motion I touch Kairi, alejandro, alvaro and lastly y/n
"gotcha!!" I laugh
they all groan and laugh "classic!"

-end of flashback-

All of the sudden that memory ended with a bunch of laughter and I looked over to the boys who would ever so often mention a memory from before
like the time Kairi got his little leg stuck in the playground bridge and the fire department had to set him free or
like the time alvaro got glue all over his hair
I laughed at all the memories
"oh oh guys remember the time y/n got hit with a dodge ball and went flyinggggg" I hysterically laughed Kairi burst out too
"she couldn't properly breath for 3 hours"
"i remember when y/n broke her arm trying to act cool in front of us during recess" ale giggled
"oh shittttttttt me too she cried baddd" alvaro said laughing but covering his mouth

then a moment of silence erupted between us.
for a second it felt as if y/n was still here,
but then I look around and see she's no where to be found
my face turns from playful to serious and I clear my throat

"okay. what are we waiting for?"
