my head started to spin I laughed at Kairi's words "na na na my dad-" I burst out laughing "good one kairi"
I say wiping a fake tear

"mattia I'm seious"
I looked at him. could he have been?
"tia how else could he have gotten the ring? it was one of a kind made for HER."
fuck Kairi was right
I traveled my mind back to that night

she defiantly wore it and come to think of it my dad called me that night asking about her
I shook my head "let's just put him on the board he's not our main suspect till proven otherwise."

everyone nodded their head but alejandro just put his tongue back in his mouth

we worked all day and stood up all night. the first to pass out was alvaro then Kairi and last to be awake was alejandro

I wake up to the boys passed out
I get up putting the board back in the closet
and put y/n's ring on

I walk down seeing my mom and dad laughing together taking a quick picture of her

"okay honey I gotta go take pictures for a wedding today" he smiled he spots me and waves
"ah goodmorning mattia" he smiled
"hello" I said dead and cold
he frowned his brows shrugging his shoulders and walked out of the door

my father's a photographer and takes pictures at social events or even just of nature. He loves what he does.

I roll my eyes kissing my mom's forehead
"morning" I smile
"morning mattia"
I sit down and wait for her to sit to
"hey mom?"
"yes?."
I chuckle this could either go right or wrong and of I'm being honest I don't know which one I want.
"did you really cry when you realized I wasn't a little boy anymore at prom?"
she looked confused "what are you talking about mattia?"

"mom"I laugh "when dad called me he said you were next to him and said you couldn't talk because you were crying that I wasn't your baby boy anymore"
"mattia I never did that"

I nod and slightly smile
I start walking up the the stair when my mom stops me "i know you miss her bit it's time to let go mattia.."
I take a deep breath and bitterly chuckle "easier said than done mom."

"What are you doing?" alvaro asked
"making a new board"
"why? we have a good hook with this one" kairi said
"we're making a new one with one suspect and one suspect only" I say through gritted teeth
