Mattia packed the last box smiling
"Is that the last one?" His mother cried
He chuckled "yes mom"
She ran to hug him crying a bit
"My little boys a college man!!"
" Mom!!!!!! " mattia blushed
"Okay okay I'm sorry" she laughed "hmm there are still some stuff in those drawers. Empty them out then you'll be on your way" she smiled
"Okay mom" mattia replied
Knowing she was just trying to stall so he wouldn't have to leave
Mattia took an empty box and started cleaning out the last of the drawers
Mattias phone rang so Mattia rushed to answer
"Mattia?"
" bro come on our apartment is crazy!! "
Mattia laughed "ok ok I'll be there soon ale and alvaro there already?"
" yes ale got here with me and alvaro just got here from florida"
"Hehe okay be there soon"
"Bet ight see you here"
Mattia hung up the phone laughing
He went through the drawers once more throwing away stuff he did and didn't need
Mattias heart stopped and weakly smiled when he took out a hold diamond ring and written on the side in small bold letters 'your initials'
Mattia smiled putting it on remembering his childhood best friend and first love he never forgot about her in fact he thought of her everyday but the ring slipped his mind
Mattia cleaned the remains of the last drawer throwing the useless box away sighing at his empty room
He walked downstairs saying goodbye to his mom and going to his car packing the last of the boxes in his trunk
He mounted the car taking a deep breath
"A new beginning" he smiled looking at the ring that he wore on his ring finger that would never be taken off as of right now
He admired it once more before turning on his car and twisting the ring around so he could see the small bold letters saying
