Mattia laid back on his bed with thoughts overwhelming him, he couldn't breathe. Flashbacks came at him in every direction he couldn't take it.
Every blink he took a new flashback occurred

When they first met
When they first hung out
Their first family dinner
And Christmas
Their first Valentine's

First homecoming...

He remembered the settings
The park
His room
Her house
His house

He remembered her
Her smile
Her eyes
Her voice
Her manners

His years rolled in and his hands started to sweat
"She's not alive. She's but alive. She's not alive."

He lifted his head and brought it back down drowning in his years
"She's dead. She's dead. SHE'S DEAD DAMMIT'

He signed and wailed Mattia stood up years falling off his cheeks going into his desktop drawer getting her promise ring
He held it in his hands grasping it with his life
" your dead.... "

Mattias door suddenly swung open and through Mattias wet eyes he saw Kairi

"Mattia?.."

" oh hey...kairi" Mattia chuckled putting on his biggest smile

"Tia?."

Mattia then just sniffles and cried holding out the ring. Kairi sighed walking out to him hugging him till his breathing softened

"What happened ?"

" I- i- i- thought I saw her" he sobbed clapsing to the floor holding the ring in his hand

Kairi frowned looking at the time, it wants even last twelve and Mattia had an outburst which he hadn't had in months

"Are you having nightmares again?"

" N-no"

"Then where did you see her" Kairi asked in his softest voice he could do

"T-the plaza"

"Hmm" Kairi went while stroking Mattias hair trying to calm the poor boy on the floor "tia..do you think it was someone who just looked like her?"

Mattia didn't say anything because truth is..it could be been someone who just had some similar qualities y/n once had, but Mattia didn't have the guts to say that Kairi was right so he just nodded into his chest

"Look at me tia"

Mattia did so and looked up at Kairi
"You'll meet her again one day just not anytime soon, focus inn the now okay?"

Mattia wiped his years and putting the ring on his finger "okay"

Kairi slightly smiled hitting him "we still up for the library soon?"

" Yeah" Mattia giggled hitting him back

"Okay good cause I'm failing my math course"

Mattia, alejandro, kairi, alvaro, as well as Katie all day in the library on the top floor

Katie had only supposed to go to the library to give tia and ale her lecture notes but alvaro insisted she stayed to help them study

Alejandro was studying to be in medical, especially someone who would look into sports injuries

Kairi was on scholarship for soccer and he was getting good at what he was doing so everyone thought soccer would be his lifetime career

Alvaro was all over the place but he finally decided to be in media, and travel all over the world

As for Mattia he was pursuing the task force, every since he busted his dad he wanted to do good and do it for a living especially in missing persons cases

So all 5 say there quietly studying for different classes but I'm the end Kairi asked for a break

"Yo can we all talk for a min my head is killing me"

"Finallyyyyy, I was hoping someone would say it" alvaro chuckled

"Bro I don't know about you guys but fuckkk, this shits hard" ale whined putting his head down

Katie giggled patting his head which you could easily tell ale was excited about

"Ew get a room" Mattia laughed
A little toooo loudly earning a shush from superiors around him

"Jesus" he whispered into the group which they just laughed to
20 or so minutes had passed and Mattia suggested they get back to studying which they did

But in the middle of his study session he realized that he needed a certain book that he didn't bring with him

Mattia groaned getting up but held back by ale
"Where you going?"

" oh I need a textbook for this class and I didnt bring it"

"Oh okay" ale smiled letting go of Mattias shorts

Mattia playfully rolled his eyes walking to the department he needed but he saw the book next to him slid to the opposite side of the shelf so he shrugged not thinking much of it, he grabbed the textbook and walked back to his friends

I walked into the library quite tired I hadn't had much sleep the last few days especially with my classes getting tougher and tougher

I yawned walking over to an empty table with my coffee and laptop, I set everything down getting out my notes and such opening my laptop smiling to my backround

I studied for was about 20 minutes till I got bored. I stood up stretching a little then walked in between the shelves rummaging through the books tryna find something that would interest me

I stopped at the T section department and started to look for a book that has been recommended to me by a classmate

I smiled seeing it on the shelf sitting next to a textbook

"There it iss" I whispered to myself reaching for the book seeing the textbook also move opposite of it

My heart slipped a best when I saw the fingers of the hand that took the textbook

I felt my breathing quicken and my heart race but I was so shocked I couldn't move

I recognized that ring anywhere

When my senses finally came back I shook my head speed walking to that side of the shelf being able to hear my own heartbeat

"Mattia?"

But no one was there.
