Chapter Nine: Official BF?! (Part One)

Luki’s POV

Hi, Sakai, Hayato Luki here. We are currently on the Jet Oji Shimon voluntired to use for our journey to Japan. I’m here in his private room talking with him. Sighs.

“Dakara, oshietekudasai. Firipin ni daizaichū wa, kore made no tokoro dōdesu ka? (So, tell me. How is your stay in the Philippines so far?)” < ------- Oji Shimon

“Jitsuwa, watashi wa tanoshinde iru! Watashi wa, atarashī tomodachi o tsukutte iruto watashi wa gakkō de yoku fitto shite imasu. Baba Katarina to ojisan Chāruzu wa watashi wa tamerawazu ni tomete imasu. Karera wa sonogo modotte kita yō ni, karera wa isshu no tōridesu. Sae baba shīra wa watashi ni shinsetsudesu. (Actually, I’m having fun! I’ve made new friends and I’m fitting well at school. Auntie Katarina and Uncle Charles are letting me stay with no hesitation. They are as kind as they were back then. Even Auntie Sheila is kind to me.) ^_____^”

“Sore wa kiite yoi kotoda. Shikashi Hanon-san to no kankei ga okotte iru? (That’s good to hear. But is your relationship with Hanon-san going?)” Oji-san said with a rather serious voice and a serious face. My relationship with Hanon? Hanon-chan? Ugh. Even I don’t know whats going on between us.

“Sore wa kanojo no mawari ni iru mada kanari kutsūda  (It’s still rather painful being around her)” I said then looked at ther ground to hide my face. Yes, it’s painful to be around her. Aish! Mag tagalong ka nga Luki! Marunong ka naman! Gusto ko mag mura!!! Kasi naman! Masakit! Sobra! You try being friends with some one since you were kids! Tapos tapos! Nangako pa na walang limutan and then what?! She did the exact opposite! UGH!

“Watashi wa kanojo ga anata ni totte taisetsudatta chi tte iru. Shikashi, watashi wa anata ga shiawase-sōna kao o miseru tame ni besutowotsukusu to iu jijitsu ni kanshin suru. Shikashi, watashi wa anata ga anata no kimochi o kōdō shiyou to Ruki ni masuku o hairenaide kitai shite imasu  (I know she was dear to you. But I admire the fact that you try your best to show a happy face. But I do hope you try to act how you feel and not put a mask on Luki)” eh? A mask? I have a mask on?

“Anata ga sore no yō ni kanjite inai baai ni egao wa arimasen. Sōdenai baai wa yorokonde wa ikemasen. Anata ga naite iru yō ni kanjiru baai wa, anata no namida o teishi shinaide kudasai. Anata ga kanjiru, anata ga Hanon-san no mawari ni iru baai wa tokuni sore wa nisemonode wanai nani o subeki ka o shimeshite (Don’t smile if you don’t feel like it. Don’t be happy if you’re not. Don’t stop your tears if you feel like crying. Show what you feel and don’t fake it especially if you’re around Hanon-san)” huh? Do I wear a mask when I’m around Hanon? Oo masakit para sakin pag kasama ko si Hanon… but I’m not completely hiding what I feel. For the past weeks that I’ve been with her, at some point…  I felt happiness. May mga times na talagang nag sasaya ako kasama niya. Haha. Lalo pa pag iniis ko siya. Hanon was dear to me, she still is. She is someone special for me. I know there was a reason why they left that time. [Kung nagtatanong kayo ang history nila Luki at Hanon, di pa dito sasabihin. SECRET muna yun! Hintayin niyo muna~ Heheh… ^__________^V] Tinignan ko si Oji-san sa mata.

“Watashi wa ōji-san o shitte iru. Hanashi o arigatō (I know Oji-san. Thanks for the talk)” tumayo na ako at nag bow. Lalabas na sana ako nang bigla may pahabol pa siya

“Ā, Ruki wa, watashi wa anata ga yori yoi Hanon-san ni hanasu to omoimasu. Sore wa kanojo ga issho ni anata no yūjin Sutībun-kun to Eren-san o minagara, kanojo wa itamideatta to omowa reru. Watashi wa, dare ga kanojo no ōji ga chāmingu ni narimasu... Gimon ni omou.... Matawa Sutībun-kun? (Ah, Luki, I think you better talk to Hanon-san. It seems she was in pain as she watched your friends Steven and Ellen together. I wonder who will be her prince charming… You…. Or Steven?)” tas tumingin siya sakin. Ung tingin na nang iinis! Teka ano daw? Prince Charming? Ni Hanon? HUH?!
