Chapter 37. THE SUN AND THE MOON.
SAMANTHA.
The pain ripped through my insides it seemed, it would rack my entire body, and then just stop like it never existed. I had, had nearly five in the what felt like not much time at all. I was making my way to the place I spent most of my time, the place I felt most happy, most serene, most safe. I was almost there, when I was racked with another onslaught of excruciating pain. I fell to the floor on my hands and knee's, it feeling much better when I placed my face to the cold stones of the floor. I was tried to breath but it felt as if I were being ripped apart. When the pain had finally subsided I crawled back onto my knees, and as I backed away, I crawled into wetness.
It was a puddle of clear unknown liquid, and lots of red. My breath caught in terror and I scrambled backwards on my hands and knee's leaving hand prints of thick hot red as I went. I couldn't escape it, I was hyperventilating and I just felt like I needed to get to the place that made me feel good, safe.
I crawled there because I couldn't get to my feet, my body was shaking so horribly I couldn't rely on my legs. It was dark now, I usually came here when it was, it was my favorite time to come. In the vast room, there lay glass all around as far as my eyes could see, walls of glass, and when it was dark, the blackness glittered, and sparkled all over, it was glorious to look at. every time I came here I lay directly in the center, after dragging blankets from a bed and curling up on the stone floor that had a stunning painting of the a sun. it filled me entirely with peace whenever I lay here gazing up at the black glitter, it made the loneliness not seem so bad, even though I still didn't know what it was.
I reached the center and flattened myself, in the middle of the stone mural basking in the coolness, as my body felt as if it were on fire, when suddenly I was assaulted again with another crushing set of pain. I rolled onto my side curling into a ball, shaking, closing my eyes as tight as I could get them struggling to breath as I thought of the only other living being I have ever seen. The glass girl. Wishing now more than ever that she were here with me now...
This assault was far more worse than the last, and I brought my hands filled with red up to my ears to cover them from the horrific screeching they were hearing, I felt as if my ears would explode..

JACE.
After I even thought it through, as soon as I knew where Samantha was, that she needed me, and I could get to her, I was there. I don't know how I did it, or how I did it. But I did. Holy fudge. I was just bent over in the worst pain of my life, my eyes staring at Ezra's feet and now I stood fine, tall in a castle, I don't know where the hell, where... I heard her screaming and instantly without so much as a single movement I was standing in front of her she was covered in blood, as was a gruesome path leading up to her on the stone floor. She was in this huge glass room on the floor, on this painting curled in a screaming ball of blood.
She looked so different, besides the blood, she was larger, or smaller I couldn't really tell she was contorting in and out of pain, but her hair was insanely long and free behind her. She screamed out as her body tensed really hard curling in on itself, "HELP MEE!" and I was at her side in the very next instant.
Her stomach was swollen, looking like she ate a basketball, but right now it was squeezing her taking the shape of more an Easter egg. The world biggest friggin' Easter egg. I stared on wide eyed at her, my mouth I'm sure a huge stuck O, but I felt like I didn't know her, like this was someone else, like I was someone else entirely. I couldn't explain the feeling but as her eyes flung open and found me kneeling right beside her, she snapped righ tout of her pain and flung herself backwards, like she was terrified of me. Like she had no idea who I was.
