Pessimistic Premonition

Everyone rushed to where Minhyun was when they heard a gasp and saw Minhyun standing in middle of the living room, eyes closed and brows furrowed.

"What? What is wrong, Minhyun?" Sungwoon asked as soon as Minhyun opened his eyes.

"I just saw a vision." Minhyun quickly responded as he took a seat.

"What did you see, hyung?" Kuanlin was asking for more details.

"It was a male teenager strapped into a chair and was being tortured by a group of other people." Minhyun elaborated.

"Do you recognize who it was?" Jisung probed.

"Unfortunately, no, but maybe any of you can. Sungwoon-hyung, use your telepathy to channel my premonition to everyone." Minhyun boldly suggested.

Sungwoon followed Minhyun's instructions. He used his telepathy for everyone to see what Minhyun saw. Interestingly, Minhyun's vision was in full color but was surrounded by a blue glow.

"Wait a minute! That was Jinyoung being tortured." Daehwi reacted after seeing the vision.

"Who's Jinyoung?" Now, everyone's attention was turned to Daehwi.

"Remember when I got bumped in the plaza? He was the one who bumped me and the owner of that cap." Daehwi explained.

"Now, that makes sense. I had that premonition when I accidentally touched the cap." Minhyun realized.

"And that was X-O who was torturing him." Sungwoon revealed to his friends.

"How did you know, hyung?" Minhyun turned to Sungwoon.

"Oh, yeah. Both you and Daehwi did not know yet. I am actually friends with X-O's Kai. So, I actually know who their members are. The one seen torturing Jinyoung is Chen." Sungwoon said.

"This is terrible. Why would they do that? Shouldn't we save him?" Daehwi was seriously worried about Jinyoung.

"Oops, here it is." Daniel could not help but giggle when he realized something.

"What's the matter, hyung? This is not the time for fooling around." Daehwi glared at Daniel.

"Minhyun-hyung, this is the moment you have been waiting for. The unexpected situation which will lead to the next Chosen to appear." Daniel addressed Minhyun.

"If that's the case, then this Jinyoung is the best candidate to be a Chosen." Minhyun deduced.

"So, are we going to save our potential troop mate or not?" Daehwi was definitely jittery.

"Troop mate or not, it is our duty to save him. But one thing though, hyung, we don't know where he is. Without knowing his location, I can't teleport to where they are and we can't possibly save him." Kuanlin reminded everyone.

"We also need a plan on how to save him. X-O's powers are collectively balanced. Six out of the nine members have offensive powers, one of them can create a force field and they have a member who can also heal. Out of the six of us, only two of us can attack." Jisung stated.

The six settled themselves first and tried to figure out how to find the location of where Jinyoung was captured.

"Hyung, didn't you find any clues about their location in your vision?" Daehwi turned to Minhyun for good news.

"Wait, let me check back." Minhyun closed his eyes to replay the vision he saw, "Wait, I'm noticing something... It says... Exodus."

"Exodus? Wait, let us ask the front desk." Jisung grabbed the telephone.

It only took a minute before Jisung got the information.

"Ok, I got it. Exodus is a massive storage building of a shipping company near here. According to the front desk, when Essim colonized Sea-9, Exodus became X-O's satellite headquarters." Jisung shared his information.

"Wait, isn't there a map of the province here?" Daehwi pointed out and found the map in one of the drawers.

They surveyed the map to find the location of Exodus. It took them a while but Kuanlin was able to find it amidst the other tiny bunch of names.

"Here it is! Now, I can sparkle us there." Kuanlin declared.

"Good. Now, hurry!" Daehwi was antsy.

"Okay, but remember, once we get there, we need to be extremely vigilant. An ambush attack is highly possible." Jisung prepared everyone.

"Chosen Squad, fighting!" Daniel exclaimed, as everyone stared at him, "What? I was caught in the moment."

All six of them held hands as Kuanlin teleported them to the location. They knew there would be trouble once they got there.
