Worrisome Words

After the retreat of Bulletproof Scouts, the remaining guards retreated on their own. On the other hand, the Chosen Squad rushed to the scene where the battle between Five-Sided Polygon and Geefreend took place. They were quite surprised to see that both squads were unconscious.

"What happened here?" Jaehwan could not believe what he was seeing.

"They probably both used their X-Con techniques." Sungwoon deduced.

"Wooseok-hyung! Hui-hyung!" Kuanlin rushed to his hyungs.

"I guess it's time for me to go to work." Daehwi approached the unconscious Five-Sided Polygon.

Daehwi kneeled down and only healed Wooseok. This action greatly confused his fellows, especially Kuanlin.

"Why are you only healing Wooseok-hyung? Can't you heal two at a time, Daehwi-hyung?" Kuanlin raised his voice.

"Yeah, Daehwi, isn't that a little bit inefficient way of healing everyone?" Seongwu agreed with Kuanlin.

"Relax guys. I healed Wooseok-hyung first because of his Augmentation. Once fully healed, he can help me heal both Five-Sided Polygon and Geefreend simultaneously." Daehwi explained his actions.

The exact moment Daehwi finished talking. Wooseok regained consciousness.

"Woah. Why are you guys here?" Wooseok was surprised to see the Chosen Squad.

"We already reclaimed the province and we are here to help you." Jisung told Wooseok.

"Healing now, explanation later." Daehwi mentioned, "Wooseok-hyung, augment my powers so that I can heal everyone."

"I will prepare to activate my powers on Geefreend, just in case." Woojin said while rendering the powers of Geefreend temporarily unaccessable.

With the help from Wooseok, Daehwi spread both of his arms diagonally upward to cover a larger area. Geefreend and the remaining unconscious members of Five-Sided Polygon glowed in pale gold and shortly afterward, all of them regained consciousness and slowly stood up.

"What happened?" Hui said while holding on to his head.

"What just happened. I can't really remember." Yerin muttered as she helped Sowon stand up.

"Geefreend, Bulletproof Scouts has already retreated. You have no more reason to remain here." Jisung announced, "We apologize, but we have to consider you an enemy from now on."

"Then, why not attack us?" Sowon replied.

"Because we, the Chosen Squad, believe that violence is not the answer to everything. We plan to solve each problem in a peaceful manner." Minhyun revealed.

"In that case, we will attack." SinB declared but no electricity came out of her hands. Woojin already negated her magic before she could activate it.

"What happened? I can't access my powers." SinB noticed.

"Neither do I." Sowon and Eunha said.

"I thought you knew about our powers?" Seongwu inquired.

"No. We don't know about your powers. We didn't get the opportunity to know about it." Umji denied.

"Aren't you the ones who told Bulletproof Scouts about our powers?" Woojin accused Geefreend.

"Absolutely not. We were supposed to report that as well but were unable to." Yuju honestly answered.

"Then, who told Bulletproof Scouts about our powers, then?" Jinyoung was now confused.

"It must be the other groups." Eunha whispered but Sungwoon caught it.

"Other groups, what other groups?" Sungwoon remarked, startling Geefreend.

"None of your business." Sowon quipped back, "Now, similar to Bulletproof Scouts, we will admit defeat and leave this province peacefully."

"Good decision. Now, who among you possess the teleportation power?" Woojin commented while Umji raised her hand slightly, "I believe you can access your powers now."

With those words from Woojin, Geefreend held each other and disappeared on Cloud Dancer-colored sand.

"I wonder what they mean about 'other groups'? I am highly concerned about that statement." Sungwoon told his allies.

"Well, for the meantime, we would like to thank you for reclaiming our province back." Hui and the rest of the Five-Sided Polygon bowed to the Chosen Squad on the ground.

"No need for that, hyung. What are your plans now?" Kuanlin queried.

"For the meantime, the ten of you will return to Carat for your recovery. As for us, we will inform Mr. Shin Daenam and reoccupy the capitol as soon as we can." Hui elaborated.

"Well, if that's the case, we will return to Carat now." The Chosen Squad told Five-Sided Polygon.

"Once again, thank you for your help." Five-Sided Polygon made a 90 degree bow once again.

The Chosen Squad teleported back to Carat whileFive-Sided Polygon still have lots of things to do before the day ends.
