Weird Weather

For the rest of the day, they let Ex-Monster rest up, knowing that they were exhausted from their previous work. Before Ex-Monster hit the sack though, they were kind enough to give everyone permission to use any room in the third and fourth floor. Both floors had 10 large rooms and all rooms could be occupied by two persons. It was no mystery that M By M members decided to share a room. For the Chosen Squad, Jisung and Sungwoon would share a room. Minhyun and Jaehwan agreed to have the same room. Daniel and Seongwu chose each other and same went with Jinyoung and Daehwi. As for SVT, the pairs were as follows: S.Coups was with Jeonghan, Mingyu was with Wonwoo, Seungkwan chose Vernon, Jun was paired with The8 and lastly, Hoshi was with Woozi. Meanwhile, Woojin, Kuanlin, DK and Dino had a room for themselves. Joshua, on the other hand, was strangely invited by both Jeonghan and S.Coups to share a room with them; Joshua reluctantly declined with his ever-gentle smile and some eye movements that both Jeonghan and S.Coups understood and decided to also get a room by himself. M By M and SVT occupied the rooms on the third floor while the Chosen Squad were on the fourth floor.

The next morning, breakfast was little bit unusual because Ex-Monster's dining table could only occupy 16 people at most and yet there are 31 or them currently residing at Monbebe. So, SVT and M By M decided to eat breakfast at the adjacent living room while Ex-Monster and the Chosen Squad filled the table.

"After breakfast, we will set out first to ask for information. Depending on the results of today's action, we will plan what are we going to do tomorrow." Shownu said loud enough for everyone to hear.

Breakfast was finished and Ex-Monster was properly cleaning up everything until the last fork. Meanwhile, the Chosen Squad, SVT and M By M prepared for their mission. When everyone was ready, they went outside and gathered on the porch outside the main entrance of Monbebe.

"So, we will split up, according to our respective groups and ask for information about Jeong Sewoon. Come back whenever you want." Jisung instructed.

"Wow. That's strong sunlight is very hot and bright for our eyes. May it rain something cold like ice." Daniel mumbled.

All of the sudden, the bright skies darkened and storm clouds started to roll in. In less than a minute, it began to hail accompanied with lightning strikes and thunder.

"Woah. What just happened?" Jinyoung, along with everyone else, was surprised by the sudden change in the weather, "It was fine a minute ago."

The moment Jinyoung said that, Jisung, Sungwoon, Minhyun, Seongwu, Woojin, Jinyoung, Daehwi and Kuanlin truned their heads toward Daniel and stared at him.

"W-wh-what? It wasn't m-me!" Daniel defended himself.

"Why? What is it? Why are you looking at Daniel?" S.Coups noticed the Chosen Squad's unusual behavior.

"Because, it looks like his Spell Casting abilities unconsciously activated again." Daehwi explained.

"How can you say so?" Shownu probed.

"This is the second time it happened. The last time it activated, Daniel-hyung transformed my mouth into a zipper!" Kuanlin recalled.

"But seriously, it wasn't me this time." Daniel continued to defend himself, most especially now that everyone was staring at him like he was some sort of guilty criminal escaping arrest.

"Really? I think your statement proves it, hyung. I clearly heard what you said before this happened. The last words of your sentences were eyes and ice, which rhymes. I think that is the reason why the spell activated unconsciously." Dino theorized.

"Woojin, can't you negate this?" Minhyun asked Woojin.

"Unfortunately, no, hyung. It is too large-scale. Although I once accidentally negated the powers of my whole province, I'm not skilled enough to consciously do it yet." Woojin honestly said.

"Well, it looks like today's plan is officially cancelled. Let us go back in for now." Minhyuk suggested.

"Sorry, everyone. I will go in first because probably I can make it worse." Daniel sadly entered Monbebe.

"Oh no." Seongwu exclaimed.

"What is now, Seongwu." Jisung inquired.

"Didn't he say first and worse? They rhyme, don't they?" Seongwu pointed out.

As soon as Seongwu said it, the hailstorm worsened as strong winds began to blow and it started hailing even harder. Seongwu quickly stopped time and urged everyone to come inside. Once they were in, he deactivated his power and all hell broke loose outside.

"Wow. This is the most unusual weather Hipstars has experienced in years." Kihyun commented.

"Well, we have no choice but to postpone our search until that freak storm subsides." Sungwoon declared.

Unfortunately for them, the storm had no sign of subsiding in the next few hours. Also, Daniel was nowhere in sight.
