Respectable Reputation

After the sudden briefing for their first mission, the rulers left the Chosen Squad and the rest of the magical squads as they had other business to attend to. Meanwhile, the Chosen Squad was still frozen in shock. They only unfroze when both Geefreend and Mommymoo both introduced themselves one by one and starting talking anything related to the search of the missing people.

"We are really looking forward in working with you soon." Geefreend leader Sowon said.

"Yeah. Especially with the rumors we heard about your powers." Mommymoo leader Solar agreed.

"Rumors? SVT knows about our powers. Why don't you ask them?" Jisung politely answered.

"They won't tell a thing. They told us to see for ourselves." Mommymoo member Hwasa told the Chosen Squad. All SVT members playfully covered their mouths in the background.

"Ah, I see. Then, we will make sure to demonstrate our powers to you one day." Sungwoon politely said.

After the conversation, Geefreend teleported out in Cloud Dancer-colored sand while Mommymoo traveled in red lightnings.

"Since, obviously, the eleven of you needs a place to stay..." Wooseok initiated the topic.

"... it has been decided that you will be staying in Carat once again." DK cut-off Wooseok and happily announced the news to the Chosen Squad.

"Ah, yes. In Carat. And we will be visiting you sometime tomorrow to discuss our plans." Hui added.

"So, if there's nothing more to add, we would like to steal the Chosen Squad from your presence and forcefully bring them to our residence." Seungkwan's voice was full of sarcasm as SVT huddled around the Chosen Squad to teleport back to Carat.

"Oi... Yah... What are you doing...." The Chosen Squad's final words before SVT teleported them out of the base.

Five-Sided Polygon only sighed at SVT's energy, if that's what you like to call it.

"Haa... I really couldn't imagine SVT and Mommymoo so goofy in real life especially with their distinction of being at par with the Five Pillars." Jinho shook his head in disbelief.

"Well, there is nothing we can do about it. It's just who they are, hyung. The 'Beagle' squads." Kino shrugged Jinho's concern.

Meanwhile, SVT and the Chosen Squad arrived at Carat.

"Waaahhhhh... I can't believe you're here again." S.Coups finally let his feelings out.

"We are so lucky. This is their third time here already." Mingyu mentioned.

SVT was in euphoria and the Chosen Squad didn't even know why.

"Hold up, you guys. Calm down and everyone, please take a seat." Sungwoon told SVT to which they obeyed.

"Okay. First of all, we like to thank you for allowing us to here here again." Minhyun spoke.

"No. The pleasure is all ours." Joshua replied.

"Okay. Now, the most important thing..." Daniel paused for a while, "Why didn't you tell us back then? We never knew you were part of the Twilight Triad. The Triad's reputation is known throughout the kingdom."

"We thought Minhyun will tell you and we didn't wanna boast about it or anything. After all, we are still unable to subdue them. And also because, it's you, the Chosen. How can we boast ourselves to someone as honorable as you, guys?" Hoshi elaborated.

"But still, we are still weak at that time. Our powers don't even match yours at that point." Sungwoon stated.

"Yes, at that point. But look where you are now. You have a negator, two replicators and a channeler. Your collective of powers became stronger and stronger." Jeonghan explained.

"Oh, yeah right. Before we continue, this is Park Jihoon, our newest member and the bearer of the number 2 mark." Jisung introduced Jihoon to SVT formally.

"Wow. Can we know what is his power?" Wonwoo exclaimed.

"Why talk about us? Talk about you. It's your reputation that we want to know about." Seongwu urged SVT.

"Oh. Okay. Well, we got our status when we were able to stop Two-Times in a confrontation before. Geefreend got their status when they encountered X-O while Mommymoo achieved the similar feat when they battled against Bulletproof Scouts." S.Coups narrated, "Rumors then spread like wildfire across the Kingdom about three groups that were able to defeat some members of the Five Pillars. Thankfully, the rumors branded us as the 'Twilight Triad' as they did not know which specific groups did it. Only magical squads across the Hallyu knows about the whole story."

"Aren't you glad about the distinction, hyung?" Jinyoung asked.

"Well, we are thankful to be part of an elite group that is capable of holding our ground against the Five Pillars. Even the Five Pillars acknowledge that the Twilight Triad can possibly defeat them in battle. But we don't usually care about it." Jun revealed their true feelings, "Because for us, we acknowledge that the Five Pillars are stronger than us. Then, there's you guys. The only group that can at least match, if not surpass, their level. Then the three of us will be next to you six. When the time comes that everything is restored, it's kinda our duty to fill in the spot when any of you goes away."

"Wow. Your group is so cool about everything. And the fact that you are goofy and bubbly and bright, we were complete fooled by your façade." Jaehwan commented.

"If you really think about it, their powers did seem to be strong enough to hold up against Bulletproof Scouts back then." Daniel recalled, "You've earned our respect even more."

After the conversation, the rest of the day was wasted once again, clearly personifying the laid-back mantra of SVT. The Chosen Squad were given individual rooms and they slept by 8. On the hand, SVT slept just before midnight.
