Tactical Teamwork

Everyone was taken aback how Baekho and Ren snuck behind them and took out three of their allies. Sungwoon, however, was quick on his feet and subdued both Ren and Baekho using the powers of now unconscious Mingyu.

"Joshua! Seungkwan! Mingyu!" S.Coups screamed the names of his fallen comrades.

"No worries. Daehwi can take care of it." Sungwoon proclaimed.

"Daehwi, Kuanlin, do you hear me?" He contacted Daehwi and Kuanlin telepathically.

"Yes, hyung."

"Mingyu, Joshua and Seungkwan are injured. Baekho and Ren are unconscious. Kuanlin, I need you to teleport them to your location. Daehwi, heal the injured. After they regained consciousness, allow them to guard Baekho and Ren, in case they woke up and are still under control. Tell Vernon, I need him in the battlefield." Sungwoon explained to the two.

One by one, Seungkwan, Mingyu, Joshua, Baekho, and Ren disappeared in swirls of golden sparks. On the other hand, Vernon appeared in gusts of wind.

"What do you need me for, hyung?" Vernon asked.

"Teleport me and S.Coups so that we will be at the back of Bulletproof Scouts." Sungwoon told Vernon, "S.Coups, prepare yourself. We are going to let them taste their own medicine." Sungwoon contacted S.Coups mentally.

"I like what you're thinking, hyung." S.Coups replied.

"Now, Vernon." Sungwoon commanded.

"Behind Bulletproof Scouts." Vernon exclaimed as he waved his hand over Sungwoon and flicked his finger in S.Coups' direction.

Meanwhile, the injured and the unconscious were now in front of Daehwi, Daniel, Kuanlin and The8. Thanks to Woozi's power boost, Daehwi just stretched both of his hands over Mingyu, Jun and Seungkwan and the three began to glow. Less than half a minute later, the three regained consciousness. The8 was relieved that his teammates were fine. Daehwi, then, instructed the three about what to do about Baekho and Ren.

On the other hand, Sungwoon and S.Coups stealthily arrived in Bulletproof Scouts' back. Jin concentrated his force field so much in the front that the back part was not nearly as strong. Sungwoon replicated DK's Energy Blast and breached Jin's force field from behind. Taking the opportunity, Sungwoon and S.Coups was able to hit the Bulletproof Scouts, JR and Aron with a double dose of augmented Aerokinesis, sending the nine flying. Grasping the situation, Jisung kept both JR and Aron suspended in the air. JR and Aron suddenly blacked out, only to find out that Mingyu was back in the battlefield.

The Bulletproof Scouts stood up with only a few scratches. As they did, their eyes widened when they saw that SVT, Jisung and Sungwoon were now fully facing them, ready to attack. They also found out that Jin fainted from both the exhaustion of prolonged usage of his power and the impact done by the attack. Realizing that they were at a disadvantage without their defensive member, the six members crouched down to hold Jin, then disappeared in silver-gray flames.

Seeing that there was no more threat, Woozi deactivated his power and fell on the ground.

"Woozi-hyung, are you okay?" Dino approached Woozi, so with rest of SVT.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I'm just slightly exhausted, you know. I have never augmented sixteen people simultaneously before." Woozi answered.

"But, seriously though, your power is pretty helpful. Even my healing power improved whilst exposed to your power." Daehwi commented as he, Kuanlin, Daniel, Seungkwan, Joshua and The8 appeared.

"With Woozi's augmentation and the thirteen of you together, SVT should be formidable in battles." Jisung concluded.

"Thank you for your support, Woozi." S.Coups thanked Woozi while ruffling his hair.

"Nah. It was for the province anyway. And besides, we get to fight alongside members of the Chosen." Woozi's tone was in a playful crescendo despite the fatigue he was experiencing. Woozi was able to lift the mood up as everyone laughed at his statement.

"What about Newest? Are they fine now?" Hoshi mentioned.

"Kuanlin, can you gather them?" Sungwoon requested to Kuanlin.

"Hyung, can you help me just a little bit?" Kuanlin turned to Woozi.

Because of fatigue, Woozi needed to hold Kuanlin's left hand to enhance his power. Kuanlin called out Newest while his right hand moved from left to right. All five members of Newest appeared before them in sparks of gold.

"Uhm... How should we wake them up?" Jun looked at the unconscious Newest members.

"Allow me. Though I could also use a little help from Woozi-hyung." Daehwi stated.

Woozi touched Daehwi's back as Daehwi stretched his hand to encompass all five Newest members. Daehwi also touched Woozi's shoulder and the latter slightly recovered from his fatigue.

"Thank you." Woozi thanked Daehwi.

In the meantime, the Newest members woke up from their slumber sans Minhyun.

"Ow. Ow. Ow. I have a terrible headache." JR muttered as he and his three awake members rose up from the floor, "Where are we? What happened?"

They were surprised when SVT and the Chosen Squad were glaring at them.

"Uhm... What?" JR spoke in confusion.
