X-O's X-Con

"We need to find a way to retrieve Jinyoung-hyung and get out of here quickly." Daehwi whispered to his fellows.

"Easier said than done, Daehwi. We lack offensive prowess." Sungwoon responded to Daehwi's statement.

The Chosen Squad were rummaging their brains on how to get out of this situation safely. But X-O gave them no time at all as they launched an all-out attack.

"X-Con: Exoplanet!" Suho, Xiumin, Chen, Chanyeol, Sehun and Baekhyun shouted together.

"X-Con? What is that?" Jisung muttered.

"Whatever it is, it doesn't sound good." Daniel expressed his opinion.

Once again, they were right. All of X-O except Kai, D.O. and Lay fired their attack. But instead of six separate attacks, only one enormous glowing ball was released travelling at high speeds. If one looked closely, the ball was a perfect combination of air, water, ice, light, electricity and fire. The Chosen Squad was unable to move due to confusion. From the perspective of X-O, their combined attack landed cleanly. But when the smoke cleared out, X-O was taken aback when they saw a golden shield protecting the six on the opposite side created by Sungwoon.

"You have the same powers as me?" D.O. remarked.

"No, not really. More like I just borrowed yours." Sungwoon replied.

"A power replicator. Interesting." Suho commented.

Meanwhile, Sungwoon was definitely feeling the strain in maintaining the shield after concentrating his powers enough to block the last offense. He was on his knees while still maintaining the now-flickering cracked shield.

"Hyung, we need to save Jinyoung as soon as possible. I can't hold this shield for much longer. The last attack was stronger than I thought." Sungwoon urged Jisung.

"Then drop the shield and switch to offense. You already have an idea about their powers, right?" Jisung instructed Sungwoon.

"As for the four of you, be alert. We don't want them to ambush us from behind. Kuanlin, any sign of an ambush, teleport us immediately." Jisung, this time, instructed the non-offensive members.

"Got it." Kuanlin responded, "How I miss Woozi-hyung's Augmentation."

The battle raged on and clearly, X-O had the upper hand. Some of X-O's attacks were not being deviated or countered while D.O. simply nullified their counterattacks with his shield. However, Jisung and Sungwoon were not Chosen for nothing. Sometimes, a good plan could easily turn things around and that was what exactly Sungwoon did. He carefully crafted a plan in his mind.

Sungwoon initiated his plan while still one his knees by copying Baekhyun's Photokinesis and fired a huge ball of intensely bright light to X-O. Sehun countered it with Aerokinesis but the ball of light was not totally solid and just scattered into many smaller orbs of light. Unfortunately, Sungwoon's plan came crashing down when D.O. raised his shield, preventing him and Jisung to move Jinyoung with Telekinesis.

"Such simple diversions won't work on us." Suho boasted, "Now, it's our turn."

With Suho's declaration, Chen fired lightning from both of his hands. Sungwoon simply raised back his replicated shield then countered with an air blast. D.O. gave Sungwoon a taste of his own medicine as he raised his shield too and blocked Sungwoon's attack. Xiumin, Baekhyun and Sehun launched three separate attacks of ice spikes, light beams and air blast. Jisung was quick enough and raised both of his hands to block the stream of attacks. The four of them were now on a deadlock. On the other hand, Sungwoon was using fire to block Chen's electricity and Chanyeol's fire. Seeing the two Chosen occupied, Suho released a barrage of water balls toward the Chosen Squad. Unable to defend, Suho's water balls hit Jisung, Kuanlin, and Daehwi. All three immediately lost consciousness, leaving Sungwoon, Daniel and Minhyun behind.

"Wow. This is easier than I thought." Sehun commented.

"After eleven years, Chosen, prepare to meet your doom!" Xiumin shouted.

"Let's finish them!" Chen urged his troop mates.

"X-Con: Exoplanet!" the six offensive members of X-O shouted once again.

"This is not good!" Sungwoon muttered as he straddled Jisung.

All hope seemed lost at this particular moment. Without Kuanlin to teleport them out of the predicament, the Chosen Squad was sitting ducks against X-O's attack. Sungwoon could not think of anything for this situation. He just closed his eyes, waiting for some miracle to happen.

Just when X-O was ready to attack, a strong bolt of lightning, out of nowhere, struck the nine members of X-O. X-O fell to the ground.
