𝙰𝚗𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚐𝚒𝚢𝚞𝚞 𝚡 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚌𝚞𝚣 𝚠𝚑𝚢 𝚗𝚘𝚝-

In contrast to his cold exterior, you found Giyuu to be a kind and caring man. Of course, that's what could be seen when you two are in private but it's a while different story when you are with the other hashiras. They never understood why you liked Giyuu as he never seemed to even welcome you warmly after a long mission. However, in your opinion, he was anything but unwelcoming when you came back from a mission.
"So how was the mission?" Giyuu asked as the two of you sat under the stars.
"Easy, but there were so many of them for some reason," you replied calmly.
"Okay. I'm glad you're back." He spoke in a soft and gentle voice to you, which provided the comfort of his that you loved. "Um... I made you something," he told you, his voice getting softer as he spoke more of the sentence. "I made you those rice balls that you like. (𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆) I'm not the best cook but I hope you'll enjoy it."
Giyuu went into your shared house and brought out a plate of rice balls. You were so excited that you immediately grabbed a rice ball from the plate and didn't even say anything to Giyuu.
The moment you bit down on the rice ball, you closed your eyes and enjoyed the flavours in your mouth. A wide grin adorned Giyuu's features as he saw you enjoy what he had made for you.
"It's. So. Damn. PERFECT!" you exclaimed as you reached your hand out for another rice ball.
"Glad you like it."
"You're doing the cooking from now on," you said as you shoved another rice ball into your mouth.
From then on, when the hashiras asked you why you liked Giyuu, you would say that he cooked great rice balls among all the other compliments you had for him. Maybe that was his best trait.
