  "Thanks y/n!"
  You smiled as you watched him gobble down the food that you had prepared specially for him. The poor boy had been forcing himself to train for 4 hours straight despite you constantly yelling at him to take a break.
  As Tanjiro thanked you once again and went off to swing his sword god knows how many more thousand times, you signed and rolled your eyes. Not in annoyance though.
  Being hardworking was a good quality, but in Tanjiro's case you weren't so sure. Heck the boy slept at  ten o'clock at night and woke up at four o'clock in the morning. Then there was you and your lazy ass (𝙞𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙩𝙬) that slept at eight and woke up at eight.
  "OH MY GOD CAN YOU PLEASE REST!" you yelled at the burgundy haired boy who was training to absolute death. You were almost certain he would tell you that he wanted to get stronger to protect you and Nezuko and things like that which you did think was sweet.
  Unexpectedly, he smiled and nodded. "Okay, i guess i should spend some time with you."
  "It's not even about that it's about you overworking yourself so fucking much. I mean you're quite strong when i think about Zenitsu and Murata and shits like that. Heck you've defeated twelve kizuki."
  "Okay anyway let's go eat."
  Good enough. At least he agreed to rest but you still wanted him to agree that he was bloody overworking himself. Not everything was under your control, so you decided to suck it up and enjoy his company.
   "This." he said through a mouthful of rice and fish, " Is damn awesome."
  "It's part of the reason i like you. You're kind and caring and you can slay demons to protect people. And you can cook."
  You smiled and rolled your eyes. The way to literally any human beings heart was through their stomach. Don't want food? Then you're not a human. It was simple as that.
  "We're gonna sleep early and wake up late. And maybe you can take the day off tomorrow."
  "Okay but you'll cook breakfast?"
