Fred(Police officer)'s POV

"Have you get back on that filthy Cafe down town?"

"No sir. I can't see anything that will point to the owner. Specially she looked innocent."

I looked down when he eyed me with disappointment in his eyes.

"Are you serious?" He asked calmly... Or should I say he's controlling his anger.

"Killer have no face. Anyone can be a serial killer. They fit. Do you understand that? Did they teach you that in the academy?"

"Even if they do. We don't have enough evidence."

He sighed and wiped his face.

"It's the last thing Ms Helga Brodley went. It just doesn't make sense."

"Investigate more. Find more. We need evidence. We need to find who killed my wife."

"Roger that sir." I stood up and nod at him before walking towards the door. I breathe deep and got out.

"What did he say?"

It's my friend Tom.

"Investigate. We have to go."

"Fred! Hey wait up?"

"We need to find who killed his wife or he will never leave us alone."

"Alright."

"Let's go."

We got out the station and enter the car.

"So we're going back to that Cafe?"

"Yes."

He nodded and drive.

We quickly arrived at the Cafe.

I adjust my uniform and got out the car.

Tom followed me. We both enter the Cafe. I saw the owner brewing some coffee.

"Ms. Knight?" Her head rose and smiled at me.

"Officer. You came back. What brings you in my small Cafe?"

We sit by the table and faced her.

"Nothing much. We liked the coffee."

"Oh really? That's great. I'll brew you one then."

"Thank you."

She smiled widely and served our coffee.

She walked towards us and placed the coffee on the table.

"So. What's the catch?"

She sit with us like the last time.

"We're still looking for evidences in Business Tycoons case."

"Wow. Must be hard."

"It is hard. Specially the body wasn't found and no physical evidence at all. The only lead we have as I said the last time... Was here."

"You really assumed I kill her?"

"No. That's insane." I chuckled and looked away. I sipped the coffee. This coffee tastes amazing.

"Really great coffee."

"Thank you."

Tom and I finished our coffee. I analyzed the place.

Eyeing all the possible things that can be used as evidence.

Suddenly.. I felt dizzy.

I stood up and my vision swirls.

All I can hear was this noise.

I faced Ms Knight and she's saying something to me but I can't hear her.

Suddenly.

Everything went black.
