"Mom?" I called walking down the stairs. She's on the couch watching Fuller House.
"Yeah?" She answered not taking her eyes off of the TV.
"Um..... There's this party at the Seals.... Tonight... and....—" She immediately cut me off. I did drag it out a bit too much.
"You sound five all over again Ara. Spit it out." she paused her show before turning to me.
"Can we go?" I asked cautiously and mom sighed.
"What about Ty's problem? I can't stand telling Tommy that our son came home wasted.... again" I sighed.
"I'll deal with Ty mom. He won't come back wasted." She looked at me for a minute before giving in with a sigh.
"Fine." I squealed in excitement as I ran over to her and embraced her in a bear hug.
"Thank you! I love you mom!" she chuckled hugging me back.
"I love you too"
"No love for me?" I heard a voice I haven't heard for a while. I turned around to the door to see the one and only.
"Uncle Alex!" I ran into his arms since I'm on a roll with the bear hugs.
"Hey don't forget me" Dad said from behind him and I jumped into his arms also.
"Hey dad." I hugged him tightly.
"Hey sweetheart" he answered as they walked inside. I looked behind him and I saw four other women, whom I'm pretty sure I never saw before. They were pretty tho.
"Alex" mom smiled going to hug her brother.
"Mom?" She looked in my direction as I pointed to our four guest.
"Oh hey guys. Ara those are the few friends I told you about. Tay, Casie, Hannah and Jade. Guys that's Ara, Ty's not home yet" I waved and they waved back.
"She really does look like her mother" the one who's name I think is Casie pointed out in a whisper. Tay held he forehead with a sigh. "What?! I didn't even say anything mean!" She retorted and I chuckled.
"It's fine, I get that a lot but thanks" I went back to the couch.
"So how was France? did you get me anything?" I pestered uncle Alex as I rustled his hair.
"How—?" He trailed off looking at my mom who nodded indicating that we knew their little secret."Well... In that case no little Lyn. I didn't bring you anything. I was on official business so I didn't have time to shop. Also don't do that to my hair!" I pouted.
"Oh... Well dad what are you doing here?"
"Can't come to my own house now?" He raised a brow and I chuckled.
"You know what I mean"
"Well I was leaving work and Alex called so I swung by and picked them up" I nodded.
"So no more late nights?"
"Can't promise that sweetheart" I pouted again. I hate when he's at work so much.
"Alex! You're back!" We heard another screech as aunty Nat rushed down the stairs to hug her brother. She must really be anxious right about now.
"Well... It's a full house today" Ty said walking in. He isn't kidding tho. "Why is— Uncle Alex?!" Ty asked with surprise. We haven't seen him for about a month, if not more.
"Hey Ty" they hugged as Ty took a seat on the couch next to me. Looking at the four women then looking at me.
"They're the friends who went with uncle Alex that mom talked about. Tay, Casie, Hannah and Jade" I explained under everyone's individual conversations. I pointing to each of them while calling their names and Ty nodded in understanding.
