*Ara's POV*

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.

I fell again.

"Dammit!" I threw my shoe across the room. I held my head with my hands out of frustration.

Okay again!

I got up and attempted this move for the thousandth time.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.

I hit the floor again.

"I can't do it! Fuck!" I lie down on the dance studio floor in exhaustion and frustration.

"Maybe you need to change the move."

"I can't it's the perfect transition... wait." I quickly sat up when I realize the voice I heard was not the one in my head. It was Mariah and Ty with Jordan and Nate.

"What are you guys doing here?" I looked at them through the mirror.

"We came to see if you wanted to take a break and come with us to watch a movie?" I shook my head getting up.

"I can't I've wasted too much time I need to get this choreography down to the tea in a few weeks."

"Come on Ara you need to give yourself a break, the guys are worried they haven't seen you much this whole week."

"Just tell them I'm busy." I attempted the move again but still failed.

"It won't work." Jordan said.

"Finally someone who's honest." I replied to him getting up from my failure.

"You can't pull off that spin yourself. You need a partner." He pointed out.

"I just need to moderate it and then maybe I can pull it off. I've danced at this event for ten years by myself, a partner is not necessary."

"For that move it is Ara." He fought back.

"What do you know about dancing?"

"I know that with that kind of momentum and that angle that move will be impossible to do."

"So what are you a physics teacher now?" I retorted and he scoffed.

"Just leave her alone Jordan. Let's go." Ty told him and they turned around and left.

I walked over to the other side of the studio to claim my shoe and to turn the music back on.

I turned it on and I practiced and practiced. It was getting late so I took that as a sign to go home. I put my stuff in my car and I left the studio.

I took a shower, put on some comfortable clothing, took some pills and hopped into bed.

"Ara you want some?" Jordan offered some fries.

"Nah I'm good" I declined listening to the bustle of the cafeteria.

"You okay? Seem off." Jordan started small talk.

"Yeah I just have a bad feeling."

"What kind of bad feeling?"

"I don't know like a gut feeling that something bad or wrong is gonna happen."

"Yeah, well don't worry about it too much. It's not like you could fix it or anything."

"I guess so." I sighed as the bell rung. I got up and headed over to the library to sit in my corner and not read Shakespeare this time.
