Eve's POV

A soft feather like feeling surrounds me and the warm temperature that is just right surrounds my body, it feels nice. Slowly I open my eyes and blurry, soft, pastel colors invade my vision as my eyes clear up I see clouds of many different colors surround me. Sitting up I look at my unfamiliar surroundings, its was as if I really sitting above the clouds......?

"You're finally awake Eve." A girl that seemed a little older than me said. She is beautiful, her long blond hair that reached her hips flowed gently behind her, her body wrapped in pale Blue robes that showed off all of her curves, Her dark blue stormy eyes stood out against her fair complexion. Her looks were that of a goddess.

" Who are you? Where am I? What happened?" I asked as many questions popped into my mind. I recall the last thing that happed was..........I was stabbed to death by my brother.........? Unless that was all a dream? Looking at my surrounding of colorful clouds I thought again. Now I'm not sure which is the dream.......? *sigh* I sighed inwardly as I became more confused.

"I'm goddess Fenfir and you are in my astral realm. As you can probably recall you died being stabbed to death by your brother." Goddess Fenfir answered. *oh* so she really is a goddess and I really died. I stayed silent for awhile processing the fact that I indeed died and I'm seeing .....god...?

"So do I go to heaven or do I go to hell?" I asked. That is where people say the dead usually end up. I grew up being able to see the ghost of tge dead so the existence of god, heaven or hell doesn't seem extremely suprising to me.

"Neither, due to the circumstances of your last life I have decided to give you the esper Eve Gillens a second chance at life in the world of Reinfer." Goddess Fenfir announced proudly with a wide genuine smile on her face.

"............what?" I dumbly asked. I mean, why am I not going to either heaven or hell and what the heck does it have to do with me being an esper. Even if I am an esper with level of power I had I can barley be called an esper. Also the surname Gillens sounds bitter to my ears and I'd rather she not use it.

"Due to the circumstances of your last life I have decided to give you the esper Eve Gillens a second chance at life in the world of Reinfer." The goddess repeated.

"Yes I heard what you just said. What I meant was...why me? And what's that got to do with me as an esper? And also since I'm dead I no longer want to carry the surname of Gillens." I said all in on breath.

"Espers are old souls that have been favored by gods, due to the fact the soul has been able to live through many hardships and tests set by by gods and these tests are called life. Old souls are hard to come by as most souls end their lives by the time they are five hundred years old. Old souls or Esper souls are souls that have lived up to ten thousand years old. You, however are the most favorable among the gods because as a soul you are one hundred thousand years old which is one hundred times older than an average soul. This also makes you the only soul that has ever lived that long." The goddess had explained.

"If that's the case then you as a goddess know all about espers, is that right?" I looked at her with curious eyes.

"Yes, and you will be able to have all of your questions answered." She replied with a glint in her eye.

"That's great! Then.........." but before I could ask anymore questions she continued.

"As the favored soul among gods you are a soul I personally created therefore you are my child. I as your creator, I must say I am very proud that you have become the first qualified soul to live among gods so, I will allow you to live here with me or to live various lives in various worlds and explore them. Which would it be?" She asked patiently waiting for my answer.

"I want to explore new worlds but I still want to learn about myself. I want learn about espers." I replied after thinking long and hard.

"As I expected. As I said before you'll be going to the world of Reinfer and as for learning about espers, I'll make preparations for you so that you can learn about yourself while you're there." She replied satisfied with my answer.

"I get to do both!?" I simle happily, wait I'm happy!? I can actually feel things. I feel like a child. I must have frowned with a face of confusion and as if she read my mind.

"Its okay to feel things child. You are a soul now the physical damages of your body does not effect your soul though your soul does keep some knowledge and emotional states of your previous lives." Goddess Fenfir explained.

Calming down I gave a simple nod and goddess Fenfir continued.

" You will be reborn into a world called Reinfer. This world is a good world for your to start your exploration as its is set up alike to the rpg systems in the world of earth, this world also contains magic. You will be put in a random body in the world, your esper qualities will remain and be enhanced along with your mental capabilities. As for your request to learn more about yourself it will be put into your system in the world but there is one rule." goddess Fenfir said as her face turned serious.

" What is it?" I asked as I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"You cannot let anyone know about the existence of espers or any details regarding them no matter which world you end up in. If you violate this rule it will be seen as a traitor by all gods, including myself if this traitorous act is committed punishment will be given by gods. Betraying gods, the punishment given is worse than punishments in hell but I trust you won't betray me as your creator." She said worriedly and smiled at the end. That is true I feel as if I was the child would to their mother towards her, probably because she is the one who personally made me as an soul.

"Okay." I said with a determined look in my eyes.

" Good, then I'll be sending you off. Remember I will not be able to protect you in the worlds however if you die you will always come back here to me and when that time comes and you wish to stay you are also free to do so. The only way you will be able to come back is through the death of your body. Well then good luck my child on your adventures." Goddess Fenfir said with a loving smile on her face as I felt myself fall from the clouds.
