Third person's POV
A small parade of men traveled along the the road, those that passed by gave weary and curious gazes to their companions of three demon wolves. Eve and the wolves had traveled with the generals troop for a few weeks. Now they could see Einshev's capital, Greger in a distance. Eve had decided to accept the general's proposal of becoming his adopted child. As they neared the capital they bumped into more and more people starting with villages which they passed by to those who are traveling on the road, by now rumors of the head general siding with demons and monsters have been made. Within a few hours they had finally reached the capital's gates.
"Welcome back head general Alexander." A soldier had saluted while greeting the general. The other soldiers had stated to inspect the goods and people that came back with the general to ensure everything was in check.
Eve's POV
Standing in the corner of the crowd I realized the soldiers were using appraisal to check everyone and everything, I felt very anxious and nervous. I wasn't very sure of what they were looking at or what they expected to find so to prevent myself attracting to much attention like at the camp I used Blank Magic Disguise to edit my stats, I copied one of the adventuer's stats. I edited everything besides my rank and race as there is no point in hiding it anymore.

After speedily rewriting my stats, a soldier had checked it. I held my breath as my hands started to sweat. I don't know ow much information he could see but I disguised everything just in case. The soldier a face filled with shock that quickly changed into a face filled with hates and disgust. Sensing my unease the wolves quickly gathered around me and gave the soldier a low warning growl. As soon as the growl sounded out all the soldiers had raised there weapons and pointed it towards us.
Alexander's POV
As soon as the soldier had greeted me I quickly went straight to the point, mentioning about Eve and his wolves. The soldier lie all the others before had been against my decision in adoption a demon child until I had firmly said it was my personal family matter should I decided to adopt the child or not. As soon as I made things clear a solve had came back to report about Eve and the wolves. The soldier had begrudgingly told the other that it was a order to lower third weapons and let them into the capital. Despite being the head general I still had to follow some procedures to ensure that the people in the capital don't panic.
A small carriage was set up for Eve to ride in however Eve decided to enter a cage set up for the wolves instead. Eve had entered the cage with the wolves before the cage was locked and loaded onto a cart, then a large sheet was thrown over it to cover the entire cage to prevent people from seeing its contents.
Third person's POV
The capital was in an up roar about the generals return as obscure rumors had already been made which traveled fast despites the vast land. The general had been rumored to side with the demons an monsters, that the general was bribed by the demon nation of Jaffen, the general was possessed by evil and many other far fetched guesses made by the people had become rumors. Eve on the other hand was not oblivious to this despite the general thinking Eve to be too innocent to understand otherwise. The Emperor had caught wind of this and had sent a messenger to fetch the general to confirm what of the rumors were true. After sometime they had arrived at the general's manor and Eve and the wolves had been let out of the cage. The servants were weary of the wolves and the wolves weary of everyone besides Eve. Looking up Eve could see the large mansion that he is soon to call home. He looked onwards towards his new life at the capital as the general's new child.
