where am i going?

~lumine's POV~
i ran. i couldn't stop, i couldn't feel myself. i couldn't bear to face kody now. he must hate me. i overreacted. i was being stupid. i should've never blew up at kody. i wiped my face with my sweater sleeve and looked up. i was in a dark looking forest with thick trees all around me. where am i? then all i saw was black. 

~kody's pov~
i ran toward the scream. "where are you?" i shouted. i heard a ring from my pocket. i paused to take a breath. i pulled my phone out, hoping it was lumine. "hello?"
aiden: kody! where are you?
kody: i...don't know
aiden:i told you not to move!
kody: i'm sorry...!
aiden: i hear screaming. kody?

the phone reception was really bad. i couldn't hear anything. "dad?" i sighed and shoved my phone back in my pocket. i decided to just wait for dad to show up.

~20 minutes later~
"kody!" i turned to see my dad running towards me. i ran into his arms. "dad, something happened to lumine!" i said urgently. "okay, let's go!"

~lumine's pov~
"lumine? can you hear me?" i heard a familiar call. i slowly opened my eyes. i saw kody and aiden's faces looking down, crying happy tears. "lumine!" kody cried. i smiled weakly. "i'm...sorry," i said. "i was so worried," kody sobbed. i started sniffling. "i-i'm really sorry," i sniffed. they reassured me and i fell asleep in kody's arms.

~back at home~ (still lumine's pov)
i lay on my bed. "lumine?" i bolted upward. "kody! you scared me!" kody came over and sat next to me. i could feel the heat rise to my face. "what's up?" i asked. "i'm just curious what you meant by you had to tell me something," he said. i bit my lip. "well...remember i blew up at you and said you wouldn't understand? it's because...i had to learn to trust Brenna," i spluttered out. kody looked confused. "who's brenna?" i shrugged and looked at the wall. "lumine, you're not alone. remember i had to learn to trust you?" kody broke my deep thoughts. "yeah, i guess," i said sadly. "hey," kody said putting an arm around me. i blushed hardcore. "it's hard, kody! i want to trust you! i know i do..." i sobbed into his shoulder. kody strokes my ears. "it's okay. take your time. when you're ready, i'm here for you," kody said reassuringly. i hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. "i never want to leave your side and i'm never going to. you've been the best friend anyone could ever ask for, kody," i said sincerely. kody's eyes watered up a bit but smiled. "i love you, lumine," he said. i closed my eyes until i felt something warm and soft press against my lips. "mhp?!" my eyes shot open in confusion. kody was pressing his lips softly against mine, blushing hardcore. i kissed back. it felt like the best dream ever.
