"where should we go?" i asked. lumine looked around at the crisp, autumn leaves. "how about we get ice cream?" he suggested. "but it's cold!" i said. "i mean, if you want." lumine shuffled his feet. i looked at him suspiciously. "are you okay?" lumine kept staring at his feet. "yeah?" he said, not looking up. i grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "i know when something's wrong, lumine. it's okay, i'll help you get through it," i reassured him. lumine looked into my eyes. he looked like he was on the verge of tears. he hugged me tightly. i blushed a little, patting his head. "what happened?" i tried to be soothing. "i...have to tell you something..." lumine said.
