* Ariel's P.O.V *

"I'm officially 39 weeks pregnant today. I can't wait for baby P to get here!" I say, recording myself in the mirror. Brandon walked up behind me, wrapped his arms around my waist, and rubbed my belly. Then, he kissed the top of my head. I've been recording and vlogging my entire pregnancy for our YouTube channel. Baby P could be here any day now.
Brandon and I had just got back from a doctors appointment. Princess Penelope was healthy and my doctor said that she could be coming any day now. I was so excited to meet my baby girl. "How so you feel, baby?" Brandon asked, helping me sit down in the rocking chair. We were chilling in Penelope's room. I sighed. "Like I'm about to pop!" I said, truthfully. We both laughed. My husband reached out and felt my belly. "I can't believe we about to have a baby! Shit just don't feel real, man." He says. I put my hand over his. "I know, right? We've really been through a lot together, hm?" I said. "Yeah, we have. I wouldn't wanna do any of it with anybody else though." Brandon tells me. "Aww, baby!" I say. "I love you, mama." He says to me. "I love you, more!" I say to him. He kissed me.

- 15 Hours Later -

"You did amazing, baby! I love you." Brandon said to me. The nurse handed me our baby girl. "Congratulations, she's gorgeous!" My nurse says. I couldn't stop crying. My little princess was breathtaking. Penelope Rose Gutierrez was born May 8th, 2020 at 6:30 am. She weighed a healthy 7 pounds and 3 oz.
I couldn't do anything but stare at my baby girl. She was so precious and perfect. I wanted to do absolutely nothing but hold her, love her, nurture her and protect her. Nothing else mattered to me. This was what love felt like.
"I'm somebody's mama!" I said out loud. "Yeah, you did it babe." Brandon says, rubbing my cheek.  I watched as my baby slept. Then, I kissed Brandon. "I love you so much!" I said to him. My emotions were everywhere. I was still shocked that I just birthed a human being. Women are amazing.  "I love you, babe! I'm so proud of you." Brandon says to me.
The next day, Gia and my sister Ana came to see me. Both of them had balloons. "Hi, mama!" Gia says quietly. I had just finished feeding baby P a bottle. "Hey y'all!" I said weakly. Gia washed her hands at the sink before hugging me. After, she came to give me a long hug. "She's so little!" Gia whispers to me. I smiled. "Yeah, I know. I was up for hours just staring at her while she slept." I admitted. Brandon was asleep in the chair next to the hospital bed. My big baby. Ana walked over to my bed. "I have something to tell y'all. But I have to use the bathroom first." She says, running to the bathroom. "I have a feeling I know what she's about to say." Gia says. "Yeah, me too. It's so obvious!" I responded. We both laughed. "So how do you feel? Talk to me!" Gia presses. I smiled as I looked down at my baby. "I feel amazing, girl! I was saying to myself earlier, I was like 'I cannot believe that I'm somebody's mama!' Like, I birthed a whole human being." I said, still in complete shock. Gia smiles at me knowing exactly what I'm talking about. "Girl, I know the feeling all too well. Trust me!" She says. The toilet flushed and about 10 minutes later, Ana came out of the bathroom. "So, are y'all ready for the news?" Ana said, smiling from ear to ear. "I feel like I already know what you're about to say but go on." I said. "What you think I'm about to say? Since you know everything." My little sister sassed. "You pregnant." I said, simply. She sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes. "You're so annoying!" She whined. Both Gia and I laughed at her. "Do you really have an attitude because I figured out you were pregnant?" I said. "I wanted to tell you myself!" Ana complained. "I'm sorry!" I told her. "It's okay." My baby sister says.
Ana was only 4 years younger than me so of course she was always a bit more sensitive than I was. Couldn't nobody tell me nothing when we were growing up. Ana was my baby. I loved her like she was my child. We were super close growing up. With our mother being on drugs and our extremely abusive father, we were really all each other had.
"How far along are you?" Gia asked my sister. "8 weeks." Ana says. "Ooh, girl you early early!" Gi said. We all laughed. "Did you tell Mario?" I wanted to know. "Not yet. I'm gonna tell him tonight." My sister says. "Aww, please record it! I wanna see his reaction." I said.
Mario was my sisters boyfriend. She was dating a guy named Isaiah but sometimes things don't work out. And by things, I mean the nigga cheated and I wanted to shoot up his house. Anyway, Mario was such a nice guy. He treated Ana so good and he made her really happy. So he was good in my book.
"I'll record it for you then."Ana says. "Are you excited?" Gia wanted to know. "I'm so excited!" And gushed. "That's good. Congratulations, mama!" Gia says, hugging Ana. "Thank you!" She says. "Wow pregnancy is definitely in the air." I said. "For real." Gia says. Brandon finally woke up. "Hey, sleepy head!" I say. He rubbed his eyes. "Oh, shit. Good morning baby." He said, groggily. "Hey Brandon!" Both Gia and And Ana said in unison. "Hey y'all!" He  says. "Where's August? I just realized he wasn't here with you." I wanted to know. "He's at home with the kids." She tells me. "Aww, I can't wait for baby P to meet Sky and Nala." I said. "Aw,our babies gonna grow up together!" Gia says. "Just like how we did!" I say. "Ana's next!" Gi said. We all laughed.
