"I'm pretty sure your boss won't be happy seeing his innocent and 'Officer Lee' would have a tattoo" I snicker before he immediately pulls down his sleeves to hide it but I somehow still saw the faint ink on his body.

"Who were you?" I pointlessly ask.

He huffed. "The last thing I ever wished in this world was to be the person who I was"

"So you already know you're a runaway officer" I grin.

"Eager to confront me?" He grins back. "Maybe" I shrug and yawn at the same time.

"What do you wanna do?" He asks.

"Do I have to do anything specific with you?" I arch a brow. He shakes his head making me giggle a bit.

The minutes went by silence. He didn't say anything, nor making any noise. If only someone knew me; maybe I wouldn't be here tonight. Maybe I wasn't in this game.

Middle School.

The most hateful period of my lifetime. I still remember having my old diary glued to my chest with those obnoxious eyes despising me with every movement I made. I thought I was a complete fool that couldn't make any goddamned social communication with anyone. Not even with a soul.
I wasn't who I was back then. I spent a whole year of my seventh grade trying hard to communicate with even the stupidest person; but it wouldn't work. Until I changed my messy and annoying ponytail into a tomboyish style.

And changed schools.

I was happy, I was proud of myself even with the loss of confidence I went through but I told my mom about it. She took it seriously and changed everything. That day was clear as day to me. Her sobbing is still echoing in the back of my head. Until today she still doesn't know the reality of if; but I made it seem like all that happened.

And that school sent me to a better one after I graduated middle grade. And met Bennett; who turned out dead.

"Are you crying?" Tyler interrupts my thought. Damn you, Tyler. Can't you just shut your mouth?

It takes a second for me to notice my cheeks have wet lines running down to my chin. Did I really fucking cry in front of this guy? Of course I would. I just did. And of course this guy has enough cunning blood running in his charismatic veins to notice it.

"What do you think?" I sarcastically agree to my crying. I wipe the moist from my cheeks with my knuckles as he looks away.

Yeah right, Innocent Angel.

"Alissa it's-"

"Hold up" I raise my hand at his face to stop him. "I don't remember ever being so close to you for you to be calling me by my name"

"I did not... expect to hear that" he stares into my eyes.

Of course you didn't.
And of course you actually did.
And of course I'm drunk and is currently bluffing for you.
And of course you like it.
And of course your holding the fakest concerned look I have ever seen in the solar system.

"Then what should I call you? Miss Evans?" He rolls his eyes.

"Alis would be fine. I hate Miss Evans" I dramatically turn around.

"Fine then, how about Alice?"

What the actual Fuck?

"Your so damn annoying! And nosey!" I whine. He's silent. I liked it somehow, no one was ever willing to call me something else -Except Logan-, Alice. But I'd be happier if it was coming from someone else.

"What did Bennett look like when he was laying dead?" I ask without thinking. What is wrong with me?

"I don't know" he half laughs. "He had a huge scar on his neck when we brought him to the main building" he adds.

"I heard His skin color changed over time and his body started to make a hideous smell" he continues, "but surely he died or committed suicide. Because no one can survive a attack in the neck and that smell was easy enough for the forensics to figure its the corpse smell"

I firmly believe Bennett is dead.

As soon as he finishes I hear a rustling noise around the corner. Gentle and careful footsteps tap on the hard ground behind the bushes I leaned on.
I turn around before I peek through the messy and thin branches of the bush. There's a woman in front of me staring at the club entrance. She was tall and her hair was dyed gray. Her lips were painted cherry red in the dark. She had a worried and gloomy expression and was somewhat sad looking at the entrance.

There was a book in her hand. No, it was a diary. It was old and had the exact same design as my old one.

'VXTTN06'

The title wrote. It's definitely not a title; A code.

Within seconds she bursts into sobs and buries her face in her slender hands. Her whole body was raking with sobs; Trembling and almost losing her breath with every tear. The book falls off her hands before dust spreads around her feet. The book was as if it was ancient. Of course it was.

The moonlight deeply shines above her beautiful face; revealing her sad and upset eyes. Unlike the movies, the moon wasn't full; it was crescent.

But the moon only proved to me that on her elegant hand, had a 'X' burned on it yet shining like a neon light at night parties in the bright dark.
