"What are you doing here?" Inis na tanong ko kila Andrea na may dalang maleta.
"How many rooms here?" Si Karl.
"I want a sound proof room" si Nil.
"Let us in, Astrid" si Andrea. Hindi ko binuksan ang pinto.
"Why are you here?" Tanong ko.
Tatlong linggo na din ang lumipas mag-mula nung maka-labas ako sa ospital at yeah masaya ako kasi tanggap ng panilya ko si Nick. Tanggap din ako ng pamilya niya. Kasal na lang kulang.
"We are live with you guys—"
"Baby who's there?" Si Nick.
"Hey honey?" Si Karl at tinulak na lang yung pinto kaya naka-pasok sila.
"Don't tell me—"
"Yes, we were live here" si Nil.
"How many room?" Si Karl.
"You know what? When you guys met my jowa your true colors are rising again" inis na sabi ko.
"Because we are ashamed that time" si Andrea.
"Mga tanga"
"We don't understand you—"
"Pake ko naman" inis na sabi ko. "We have five rooms here. You can choose later what's room what you want guys" sabi ko at nag-hain ng almusal.
Ang naka-sanayan kong dalawang plato lang lagi, magiging lima na.
Marunong ako mag-luto kaya ganun.
Naka-upo na kami lahat sa lamesa at kumakain nang mag-salita ako.
"Okay let's make a deal about the duty if this house okay?" Lahat naman tumango. "So my beloved Nil—"
"Don't call him that" inis na sabi ni Nick. Hinalikan ko lang siya sa labi para hindi na siya mag-selos na ikinangiti niya.
"Nil you are the one who always buy pur grocery toiletries and anything that we need okay?"
"Hhhmm how's the budget? Five hundred thousand?—"
"That's cheap" sabay na sabi ni Andrea at Karl.
"Hoy that's too much." Si Nick. Hays salamat. "Twenty five thousand—" agad ko siyang binatukan. "It hurts"
"Who's the boss?" Agad na tanong ko sa kanila.
"You" sabay na sabi nilang tatlo.
"So I am the one who's allowed to give you orders ar anything okay? And you guys will always obey me." Seryosong sabi ko.
"Okay sabay nilang sabi"
"Good, so Nil your duty is to buy groceries, toiletries and anything that we need okay?" Tumango naman siya. "And Andrea you are paying me for your rent in our house. You will pay me the same amount of your condo." Napa-tingin sila sa akin. "At the moment nothing is free." Naka-ngisi kong sabi at tumingin kay Karl. "And you Karl will pay all our bills ha, internet, water bills, electricity bills, cable and so on? okay?" Naka-ngiti kong tanong.
Mapapatipid ako hayst ang sarap mabuhay.
"Why does it seem like all of us have to spend money?" Si Nil. Sumubo na lang ako ng kanin at hot dog tapos uminom ng juice.
"Yes, why?" Si Karl.
"You are smart. Baby good job" si Nick tapos hina-likan ako sa pisngi na ikinangiti ko.
