Marcus's POV

I was still just a prince, but as part of my preparation in taking the throne I had responsibilities I had to take care of.
Today is was more of a political issue and had to meet with some ministers to discuss a way forward.
I had to leave home early and basically had a full schedule as my secretary escorted me to every appointment.
By the end of the day I was exhausted. All I wanted to do was go to bed and rest, but Ross, Jarvis and Chris were not having it.

As soon as I walked out of my office they were waiting for me in the lobby.
"Not today guys. I'm too tired to deal with you all," I said as soon as I spotted them.
"It's great to see you too. It's been like a month since we last saw each other. I definitely missed you too," Chris said and I just rolled my eyes.
He was another good friend of ours but he didn't come along with us on our recent trip and so it had been a while since we saw each other.
"Good to see you Chris," I lazily responded.
"Now stop being a pussy and go out with us. I was lonely while you guys were away and I think I deserve a night out," Chris said as Jarvis and Ross gave me a hopeful grinned in my direction.

They were trying to manipulate me and it was working.
"Fine" I was too lazy to fight with them and so I gave in.
"Great. We are meeting up with others for dinner and maybe we can hit a few night spots," Jarvis said excited. He has always been a party person.
I know you are wondering, why am I even agreeing to go out with them considering that I'm a prince. Well that's because when we go out we basically put on a disguise.
You might think the bad boy part of me is all an act but that's actually who I really am. I understand that being a prince, I can't go all out and cause a scandal but when I choose to have fun, I have fun.

When it's time to be serious, I am serious and a very responsible person considering that I will lead the nation as I take the throne when I turn 30.
Let me enjoy my 5 years of freedom. Even my own parents advised me to let all the craziness out of my system before I took the throne. Responsibly of course.
"Why do you guys want to torture me. You will all be in couples and I will basically be the third wheel. In this case the 7th wheel," I complained.
They were all couples and in love. It's fine at the beginning but when they all get tipsy, they start getting all lovey dovey and that's when I stand out as single and alone.
"Don't worry. Olin said he has got a surprise for you," Ross said and they gave each other a knowing look.
"Fine. Its better be good or I will ditch you all," I said as we left the building and headed to the restaurant.

We arrived at the restaurant a while later and I was definitely pleased with the surprise they had for me.
I wasn't happy about this whole marriage arrangement but when I found out Elijah was part of the selection I was more than happy to go along with it.
I thought I was never going to see him again but it seems luck was on my side. I wish I could thank his ancestors for making this possible.
Speaking about the beauty, he looked extra delicious today. With the new look, he made my heart melt while other part got hard.

He was extremely sexy and all I wanted to do was lock him in a room and bang him until tomorrow. Just thinking about it got me all excited.
I know he is angry with me for leaving him that morning but I will make it up to him. I could have handled the situation better but in my defense I honestly thought we would never meet again.

I looked in his direction and he glared at me.
Yes. He was definitely still mad. Thanks to my friends, the only seat left was next to him.
It was time to do some serious damage control.
