20. MORE THAN I BARGAINED FOR

Marcus's POV

I was crazy worried as I sped off to the bar Jarvis said they were at.
At least, I was dressed more casual. Most people didn't know my face well and so I would be safe.
I rushed in, to find Elijah beating up a guy four times his size while shouting profanities at the top of his voice.
It was the wrong time but I had to admit he looked so damn sexy. This beautiful man was made specifically for me and was more than what I dreamed of. There was nothing weak or ordinary about him.

Jarvis, Ross and Chris were dealing with the others while Sherard and Olin were a tag team and Oscar was testing his wushu skills on another.
Basically, Eli had caused a full-blown fight and gotten everyone involved.
Elijah was about to punch another guy when two others wearing the same uniform held his hands. That's when I saw red because no one touches what's mine.

Elijah's POV

I was completely sober now as the football team didn't appreciate me beating up their team mate.
I wasn't planning on a fight but another guy thought it would be a good idea to call me a slut and you know I would never stand for that.
I might be mean and too straight forward but no one calls me a slut unless it's Marcus while his pounding into me.

I pounced on the guy and soon there was a full-blown bar fight as my friends joined in. I didn't want them to get involved but greatly appreciated their help because a whole football team would be my death.
I was about to kick the asshole again when I was held by two guys and couldn't move.
"Damn, you might be small but you sure pack a punch," the guy I was beating up said as he stood.
"Let's see how you will react if that beautiful face of yours gets damaged," he said as he swung his fist in my face. I closed my eyes and prepared for the impact which never came.

I opened them when I heard the guy groan in pain and saw that Marcus was the one who had saved me and was now beating the guy to a pulp.
The other two guys let go of me to help their friend but Marcus beat them up effortlessly.
Another guy came out of nowhere and punched Marcus in the face.

HELL NO. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO DAMAGE MY HANDSOME PRINCES FACE.
I grabbed a chair and smashed it on the guys back and he tumbled to the ground.
After all the drama Marcus made a call and soon Mr. Wilson came to do damage control and sort out things with the bar owner and the police.
I didn't mean to make such a big mess but it happened.

Everyone came out without a scratch, well except for Marcus who got punched in the face and it was all my fault.
Deciding that going home at this time was not the best idea, Mr. Wilson promised to cover for us and sent us to a hotel.
As in the whole crew.
Marcus stayed downstairs to make a payment as we all settled in the presidential suit. The whole floor had been booked but we decided to chill in one room and eat before going to bed in our separate rooms.

"I'm really sorry about today. I'm a terrible drunk and add that to easily pissed off and then you get a disaster," I said as I bowed and apologized.
"Don't worry, Eli. That's the most action we have had since forever. Now I can cross out bar fight on my bucket list," Jarvis said and everyone laughed.
"Olin had told me you were badass, but I didn't believe him until I saw it by myself today," Ross added.
"It's true when they say dynamite comes in small packages," Chris added and they all burst into laughter.
"You're so cool, Eli. You have to teach me some moves so that I can beat up this idiot when he thinks he can take advantage of me," Sherard said as he poked Jarvis by the side.
"Eli, please don't. Can't you see that I'm tortured enough," Jarvis cries out and this time I join the laughter.

I always thought I was weird but these guys made me feel normal. They made me feel wanted.
Not like my family who only viewed me as a trouble maker. I knew they loved me but I couldn't help but feel like the black sheep of the family.
Soon Marcus joined us and a little while later people went to bed.

I was left alone with Marcus and only silence followed.
"You need to put some ice on that," I said as I got ice from the fridge and wrapped it with a towel.
He hissed in pain but soon relaxed as I put the ice on his bruise below his left eye. The stupid jock had really given him a shiner.
"Why did you leave the house? I looked everywhere for you," Marcus said.

"Oh really. You looked busy with the others and so I decided I would rather hangout than wait for you like a desperate puppy," I said, still pissed off about him spending time with the others.
Going through us all like a catalogue before making a purchase.
"Eli, this is tradition and I have no choice but to spend time with everyone..."
"Then why did you lead me on. Damn it, Marcus! I never planned this but you made me feel like I meant the world to you and now I have these feelings for you and I hate seeing you with someone else," I cut him off as I lashed out.
I was so confused about my feelings for him and he wasn't making it any easier.

"I just..." but before I could say another word his lips were on mine, ice dropped and forgotten.
I tried to fight him and push him away but he was stronger than me and soon I gave into his addictive lips. He broke the kiss and we were both breathing deeply.
"Listen to me, Eli. I don't fuxken care about tradition, but I'm a prince and there are things I can't ignore or go against. I have to go through the process but I assure you that the only one I want is you. I never lied about how I felt about you. I don't plan on even kissing anyone but you. I know we only met recently but I'm already crazy in love with you. Never doubt my love for you Eli," Marcus said and for the first time, words brought me to tears.
I could see that he was genuine and could feel his love for me.
"I love you too," I said before I kissed him.
