34. PART OF THE FAMILY

Elijah's POV

Why was the stadium so cold?
Because there were a lot of fans.

What do you call the security outside of a
Samsung Store?
Guardians of the Galaxy.

Why can't a bike stand up on its own?
Because it's two tired.

Why can't you trust trees?
Because they are shady.

Where do animals go when their tails fall off?
The retail store.

Why do shoemakers go to heaven?
Because they have good soles.

What do you call a sad cup of coffee?
Depresso.

Why can't pirates finish the alphabet?
because they got lost at C!

Why was the cellphone wearing glasses?
Because he lost all his contacts.

The nurse I had now learned was Chase was laughing so hard as he wiped tears from his eyes.
"I'm really not sure, if you're trying to make me feel better or kill me. I'm very conflicted right now," I said but that only made him seem to laugh harder. At that moment, Marcus walked in with everyone else.
"Oh, sorry are you not done yet?" Marcus asked.
"I'm...done," Chase said.
"Oh, thank goodness," I said out loud, relieved the nurse was finally going to leave.
He was either going to put me in a coma or I was going to rip my ears off because he would have sent me to the brink of insanity.

"Bye, Eli. Will see you in the evening," Chase said as he walked out.
"Can I please get a new nurse?" I asked before pouting at Marcus.
"I'm sorry, Eli. Doctor said Chase is the best and that's all I want for you," Marcus said and I couldn't help but smile. He was so caring.

"Eli, how are you feeling."
"Dude, don't scare us like that."
"I almost had a heart attack."
"Eli, I thought we were going to lose you."
Olin, Sherard, Oscar and Ethanael all said at the same time. I wasn't sure who said what.
I was thankful Chase had helped me sit up so I could face everyone properly.
"Slow down guys. Considering that I'm high on drugs, I feel great. I'm sorry I scared you guys," I said and they all smiled.

Tiffany, Alyssa and Ellen came and cried by my bed but I assured them I was fine.
"It's good to see you well Elijah. We were all worried," Lexi said.
"Well most of us. I was mostly happy there was less competition," Alston said with a smile so I knew he was joking.
"Sorry, Al I'm a die hard kind of guy," I said and we laughed.
Well, except for Sienna who quickly stood behind the others. If she thinks I forgot what she did, she has another thing coming. I had a lot of plans for her.

"Now that we know you are safe could you please tell us what happened. How did you end up at the bottom of the stairs? Were you pushed?" Ethanael asked as he glared in Sienna's direction.
This is why I loved Ethanael. He already knew who the culprit was.
It seems Sienna didn't confess her sins and so I was going to make sure she suffered.
"Ummm...I think..." I said as I raised my good hand and held my head as if in pain but kept my eyes on Sienna.
She looked petrified. Like she was about to pass out. Yes bxtch. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
"...I think...I'm not sure...I don't really remember how I fell down the stairs. I think I just tripped but I'm not sure. If I remember anything I will tell you guys," I said with a smile.

"Thank you, Sienna. I heard that you are the one who found me and called for help. Because of your fast action I'm safe and sound," I said with a smile and she looked like she was about to passed out in shock. "I would like to get some rest guys," I said.

"That's fine, Eli. We will come visit you tomorrow," Sherard said and everyone agreed.
Marcus didn't move but before Sienna walked out, I asked her to stay for a bit and asked Marcus to get me some water.
As soon as he left the room, my smile turned into a smirk.
"Don't think that you're off the hook, I remember you pushing down the stairs very clearly. If you don't want me to tell everyone the truth you better do what I say from now on," I said and at that moment Marcus rushed back into the room with my water.
That was fast.
"Bye, Sienna. Thanks again. I really appreciate it," I said and she nodded in response before leaving.
"Do you need anything else baby?" Marcus asked as he passed me the water bottle.
"No, babe. As long as you are here with me I'm content," I said and he kissed me.

At that moment the queen burst into my hospital room.
"OH! MY BABY! I'M SO GLAD YOU ARE ALRIGHT!" Dion ran up to me and gave me a bone crushing hug.
"I was so worried when I heard about the accident. How is our little peanut?" He asked and I couldn't help but grin like an idiot.
"We're having twins and they are both alright," I said with so much joy.
"OH MY GOSH!! I'm literally the happiest mother in the world," he screamed.
"Why are we celebrating?" The King then walked in.
"Elijah is fine. Is there a better reason to celebrate?" Lay said.
"That's is a very good reason to celebrate. Elijah, I'm glad you are fine. We were very worried about you," Christian said.
"I'm sorry, I worried you guys," I said with a smile. It was so nice having so many people worry about me.
With all the love I was receiving, this truly felt like home. I was happy to be part of this family.
