28. PREGNANT?

Elijah's POV

After the wonderful night I had with Marcus, I felt like it was smooth sailing from then but I guess I forgot to check the weather forecast because I was hit with an unpredictable storm.
First of all, I woke up alone. I didn't like it but I knew it was too soon for people to find out about our relationship.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I didn't look any different but there was a little baby growing in my tummy.
My little peanut.
Oh gosh when did i become so cheesy. Marcus was turning me into a such a girly girl.

We talked about the baby last night. He wants a girl and I want a boy. It would be cool if we had twins but I heard it's not common in male pregnancies. But you couldn't blame me for wishing.

I'm glad he wants the baby. I don't know what I would have done if he didn't want the baby. If he didn't want me anymore.
Gosh, I have become so needy. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones but always want him by my side.

Anyway. I was woken up by Mr. Wilson as usual but he was gently today. He just shook my shoulder while he whispered my name until I woke up.
I think Marcus has already informed him the situation because he kept asking me how I was feeling and if I wanted to sleep in.
I told him I was fine and got up. I didn't have any lectures today but I still got up early. No, I still love my sleep but I was crazy hungry. Peanut was going to make me fat at the rate I was eating.
I took a shower before dressing in jeans and a t-shirt. I wasn't in the mood to overdress. It was going to be a chill day.
Well, that's what I thought.

As soon as I got to the dining room for breakfast, my mouth watered. They were so many new sweet pastries, I almost jumped up with excitement.
Marcus must have explained my cravings to Mr. Wilson. After this I also wanted ice cream. Oh, how I loved ice cream these days.
I love that giant idiot of mine. He was so caring. When I told him all the things I wanted he ordered them overnight. I was going to have to show him my appreciation later.
I looked at him and he smiled at me. I always easily got lost in his eyes. His beautiful mesmerizing eyes I always got lost in.
I was enjoying my meal when I overheard Marcus's conversation with Sienna.

Apparently she wasn't feeling well and that didn't sit well with me. How could the woman I look up to not be feeling well. Marcus better call the doctor or he will need a doctor when I'm done with him.
When I was satisfied with his answer my concentration returned to my food but I quickly panicked when Sienna fell.
Luckily, Marcus caught her. I rushed over and asked if she was okay but she had passed out.
Marcus carried her upstairs, which didn't sit well with me but I let it go because it was Sienna.
If it was anyone else I would have told him to leave them to the maids.

"Do you think she will be okay?" I asked Ethanael.
"We can go check up on her if you want," he said and I nodded in response. I wanted to make sure she wasn't suffering from anything serious.
We made our way upstairs to her room. The others had already left. Tiffany also left even if she didn't have lectures.
But I realized too late that I made a terrible decision when I saw Marcus lock lips with Sienna.
"WHAT THE FUXK!!" was the only thing I could say before I ran away.

I couldn't bear to see the man I loved in the embrace of another.
I thought Marcus was showing general concern for her and then I catch him kissing her.
I thought he loved me. He said he loved me. He said he wanted to make me his queen. Was it all just a lie?
"Eli, wait." I heard Marcus call out my name but I kept running.
I ran out the door and realized too late I jump in front of an oncoming car.
I closed my eyes as I prepared for the impact but it never came.

Slowly I opened my eyes and realized I had been pressed against a chest. Specifically Marcus's chest.
"What the hell, Eli! You could have gotten hurt or even worse," Marcus lashed out.
"Like you care. Just leave me alone," I said as I tried to pull away but he held me in place. He was way stronger than me.
"Of course, I care and..."
"If you cared you wouldn't be going around kissing other people while I'm pregnant with your child," I lashed out in anger.

"Pregnant?" We both turned in shock to see the queen standing right before us.
