Author's POV

"Honey, I'm home," Elijah shouted as soon as he entered the palace doors.
"You do know that people are at school or work," Marcus said as he walked in after Elijah.
"I know, I have just always wanted to say that," Elijah said with a smile.
One week admitted at the hospital was enough for a lifetime for Elijah.

Other than the fact that he had Marcus's undivided attention, everything else was terrible.
The hospital smell was the first problem. It was clean and all but hospitals have a certain smell and too much of it is terrible.
The second problem was the medication and all the gadgets connected to his body. He just wanted to pull them out but Dr Kim wouldn't let him.
At least, Marcus brought him whatever he wanted to eat. After finding out he was having twins seemed to add onto his appetite.
Either way, finally he was back home.

"Carry me. I can't walk," Elijah said with an adorable pout, looking so much like a puppy.
"Eli, you broke your arm not your legs," Marcus responded with a raised eyebrow.
"So what. I said I can't walk. Do you not love me anymore because of my broken arm? Because I'm not perfect anymore," Elijah was full on crying now and Marcus rushed to him and carefully held him close.
"No baby, you're still perfect to me. I didn't mean it that way," Marcus said silently cursing pregnancy hormones.
Elijah was now extra moody. Mr. Wilson gave Marcus a sympathetic look as he passed by with Elijah's bag from the hospital.

"Really?" Elijah asked sniffling.
"Yes baby. You're perfect," Marcus said and Elijah revealed his smile that the prince loved to see.
"Will you carry me now?" Elijah asked before biting his bottom lip.
"Of course, baby," Marcus said as he carried the smaller bridal style keeping his broken arm away from harm all the way to his room.
"Isn't that just adorable." One of the maids who had been watching from the kitchen said and the others agreed.
"I haven't seen Prince Marcus so happy. Elijah has surely brought him joy." Another commented and they spent the rest of the morning fangirling about the couple.

Marcus first made sure Elijah was comfortable in bed and had everything he needed before leaving for work.
"Master Elijah. You called for me?" Mr. Wilson said as soon as he walked into the smaller man's bedroom.
"Did you do what I asked?" Elijah asked.
"Even if I still think it's a terrible idea, I did do what you asked," Mr. Wilson said in response.
"Marcus, didn't ask too many questions?" Elijah asked.
"He did, but I was able to cover it all up," Mr. Wilson said.
"Thank you, Mr. Wilson. You are a life saver," Elijah said with a huge smile.
On his first day at the hospital, Elijah was able to convince Mr. Wilson to hide the CCTV footage of Sienna pushing him down the stairs.
This didn't mean he was letting her go. He just wanted to torture her a bit before exposing her.
"Don't worry, my babies. I'm going to make sure she suffers for hurting us. She is totally screwed now and should have told others the truth. I don't know what I would have done if anything happened to you guys. My precious Peanut and Strawberry. Mommy loves you so much," Elijah said as he caressed his tummy and talked to his babies.

Marcus's POV

I was literally boiling with anger every minute of the day. I told Mr. Wilson to investigate what really happened to Eli.
I now know Eli so well, I know the difference between him lying and telling the truth.
He knew how he ended up falling down the stairs but refused to tell the truth and blamed it on his injury. I immediately suspected something was up and told Mr. Wilson to get me the footage.
One thing Eli doesn't know is that Mr. Wilson has been my personal butler since I was born and he will always be loyal to me.
I don't know what Eli is planning and I don't agree with it but Mr. Wilson was able to convince me to calm down a bit.

As soon as I watched the CCTV footage I was ready to strangle Sienna and kill her myself.
Not only did she almost kill Elijah but she risked the lives of my unborn children as well and she wasn't going to get away with that.
I was going to make sure that when Eli is done with whatever he is doing, I will also do everything in my power to ruin her completely.
As soon as I got to the office, I found my mother waiting for me.

Dion was worried sick about Elijah. He checked on him every 5 minutes and spoilt him.
He was now acting like he loved him more but I didn't blame him. Elijah was carrying the future of our nation and my mother considered it as a great gift.
Especially because she only had me and failed to have other children. Dion loved children so much and was excited for the new edition to the family.
I was also excited. I would be a father soon and marry the love of my life. I will get married two weeks after the selection and I couldn't wait.

"Any news?" He asked. He was also worried about how Eli fell down the stairs.
I passed him my phone and he played the video I had already put on the screen for him.
After he was done, he passed the phone back to me and took a deep breath.
"Do tell me why that murderer is still in my house and not behind bars," he said calmly but I knew a volcano was about to erupt.
"Elijah knows it's her and apparently he wants to get her in his own way, so I'm giving him some time but believe me, when I say when I'm done with Sienna she is going to regret being born," I said.
"If that's the case, then I have a few more ideas we can add onto that list," my Mom said with a devious smirk.
