Elijah's POV

As much as I didn't want to, I couldn't bunk my classes two days in a row.
I reluctantly got up when Mr. Wilson came to wake me up. He rang a bell by my ear this time which was just more irritating than the rubber duck he used last time.
I think he found pleasure in disturbing my slumber and so this is why he used a different method every single day.
If I didn't need him to cover my relationship with Marcus, I would have totally kicked his ass a long time ago.

I sat up before glaring at him and he was already by the door. He knew I was the most dangerous when I was sleepy and grumpy right out of dreamland.
"Good morning Elijah. Breakfast will be ready in 30 minutes," he said with a huge smile before leaving the room in a rush. Again, my pillow hit the door a little too late.
Today I wasn't just depressed about waking up. On our way home yesterday Marcus told me that his parents basically grounded him.
From today he will be under 24 hour supervision as long as he is out of the house. This meant we couldn't meet up and be alone.
It was hard enough being together in a house filled with people all fighting for his attention. This meant less time together.

I unwillingly got ready and I was down for breakfast 45 minutes later. Everyone was already halfway through breakfast.
"Hey Eli. How are you feeling?" Ethanael asked as soon as I sat next to him.
"I'm good now. Don't worry about me. It was nothing," I said hoping they would drop the issue. I wasn't in the mood for conversation and luckily they seemed to get the message.
Everyone left for their job or school. I smiled when I got to the underground parking lot. There were many beautiful cars but only one that caught my eye.
My Baby Blue.
Yes. That's what I called my car.

I arrived and parked next to Sherard and Olin, who also had just arrived.
"Wow Eli, you weren't joking about the car," Olin said as soon as I stepped out.
"I would never joke about a Bentley, my sweet Oli," I said and they both laughed.
"Did I miss anything from yesterday?" I asked as we walked into the school building.
"I also didn't attend yesterday. I had a hangover from hell," Sherard said.
"I was perfectly fine but decided to stay in with Ross yesterday. His parents somehow found out about the fight so he wasn't so keen on going home. When he finally got there, he was basically grounded. It's either he is at work or home. Nothing in between," Olin said, disappointed. It seems I wasn't the only one suffering.
"Jarvis is also on lockdown," Sherard said.
"It's the same for Marcus. I guess it's just us against the world till all this blows are over," I said overly dramatic and they laugh.

My little bubble of joy was burst when someone bumped into me and I almost fell over but Sherard caught me.
Nick was at the end of the hall glaring at us when I noticed it was him. I clenched my fist in anger but decided to let it go this once.
He knew what I was capable of and if he pissed me off again, I would make sure he said bye-bye to his future babies.

"Can we pass by the cafeteria first. I'm starving," I said rubbing my tummy.
"You skipped breakfast?" Olin asked.
"No, I didn't. I actually ate but I feel like I have the munches. I want something sweet," I said as we headed to the cafeteria.
"Have you been smoking weed?" Sherard asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Hell no. I've just being having these weird cravings," I explained.
"Your eating habits are weird, Eli. Good thing it doesn't go to your ass. It's big enough already," Olin said and I almost slapped him. Sherard just laughed.
"At least Marcus had something to grab onto. I feel sorry for Ross because he doesn't have much to work with," I said looking at Olin's ass for dramatic effect.
"You bitxh," he lashed out trying to be mad but just looking more adorable.
"You started it," I smirked and in the end he laughed. I loved how I was now so free with these guys. After getting a snack from the cafeteria and lots of candy from the vending machine we went to class.

I got the message from Marcus as soon as I got home from school. I wasn't in the mood for much and felt tired, so I decided to go home early and take a nap.
