You exited the lab and made sure to turn off notifications for all Underground social networks "Why'd you do that?" Frisk hovered at your side "Just to make sure I can keep focused. I'm easily distracted by notifications and stuff so keeping them off will be helpful" Frisk nodded and backed away, you walked along with an escalator type puzzle and some steam pipes which really worked at transportation and a release of steam for energy "These are super duper helpful, Alphys is one hell of a genius" You continued onwards where you were met with a bunch of lasers. Then you got a ring from your phone "H-hey! Alphys here!" You heard as you answered, "Um...I'm seeing on my camera, You're infront of those lasers right?" "Yeah...Mind handing some info?" You heard a small squeal on the other side of the phone "Y-yeah! So the orange ones. You can move right past but the blue ones. You have to stop and freeze for them...Bye!" She ended the call and you put the phone in your pocket. Moving through the orange ones while stopping for the blue ones "Huh. That's kind of neat! Putting things used from monster attacks like the blue move into security systems" You flipped a switch at the end which turned off the lasers. As you moved onwards you came to a point where the north gate was locked "Damn. Hmmm. Wonder how I should do this?" You got another call from Alphys so you answered "You see um...The north gate is locked by 2 puzzles at the sides. Go to them and complete them to open the gate! I suggest the right path first" "Thanks Alph!" You ended the call and waited for the sign on the steam vent to say right and you jumped over to there. You walked over and entered the small area which had a gunner puzzle "Hm. Well, you only get 2 shots and have to shoot that one on the other side..." You 3 thought "I got it! Pull that top block down to the left and then use one shot on the bottom block than the other on the top one" You listened to Chara and did just that, and it worked! "Well look at Chara. Starting to enjoy herself" "Well yeah. A bit" She smiled "Woah..." She stopped "What?" You walked out "I've never seen you smile before" She blushed "Yeah well...You'll never see it again!" You sighed "There it is"

You walked to the left where there was a blue laser blocking your path "How could I pass this?" Another call from Alphys buzzed in your pocket as you picked it up and answered "H-hey! Alphys here! I s-see you're stuck on the other side of that blue laser. Well I-I can hack it! Gimme a sec!" The laser turned off "Good job Alph!" "T-thanks" The call ended. You headed in to see another gunner puzzle. You moved the blocks around to the best way as Chara and Frisk dropped hints for you to do it. Eventually, you did it! And headed back to the north gate to watch it open "Onwards and upwards" Frisk and Chara nodded as you moved through it and got ready to jump over more steam pipes you got a call from Alphys so you answered "Hey! S-so with those P-puzzles...You need to-" "I've already done them Alph" She was silent for a moment "O-oh. G-great! Good! Ok bye!" She ended the call as you jumped over the steam pipes "Man that was fun!" You landed on a new type of ground "Huh...Wonder what lies ahead" You kept walking forward

You entered a really dark area "Jeez it's pitch black in here." You kept walking carefully forward "Maybe it's some kind of pattern like in the ruins doing that collapsing floor thing. Try to follow a set path" Frisk Suggested to you as you tried as Alphys rang "Hey! It's kind of dark where you are. Lemme turn on the lights" Lights flashed on in the room to reveal a kitchen "A movie set? Is...Is that a camera?" You squinted. Mettaton rose up next to you "WELCOME BEAUTIES!" "JESUS CHRIST!" You jumped as you heard her speak "To the undergrounds premier cooking show!" Glitter came down from above "I've never been on a cooking show before" Mettaton pulled you in "Well School Boy it's your lucky day because we're cooking up something special so pre-heat your ovens, everyone, cause we're making...CAKE! And our special assistant here will gather the ingredients! Everyone give them a round of applause for their sacrifice!" Clapping came from again nowhere- "Wait sacrif-" "WE NEED SUGAR MILK AND EGGS! Go on sweetheart!" You walked around the kitchen and grabbed what she said then laid it on the counter "Good job assistant! Now we can bake a cake!... Hold on...We're missing something...A human SOUL!" She began to try cutting at you with a Chainsaw "Jesus I'm gonna die!!" Suddenly you got a call and held it up to Mettaton "For me?" She took it and held it to her...side? "Who is it I'm on a schedule." "M-maybe could you make a cake that is for...non human soul? Like...What if someone is...Vegan?" There was a moment of silence "Well you know-" "BRILLIANT ALPHYS! Good thing I have a non-human free for vegan ingredient over there!" You looked at a jar of snails in the distance "...Ew..." "Well, Assistant. Go get it" You walked over to it and saw it lowering down into the platform "It's a trap! Get back!" You quickly grabbed the jar but it was glued to the table so you shot up into the air while holding onto the jar "Well this was unexpected...BUT! It works for my schedule! Buh-bye!" Mettaton flew away "W-we did it!" Alphys celebrated "Good thinking! I'll hack into the server and lower it down to help you get down from there" The platform slowly lowered down and you sighed "Thanks Alph, Talk to ya soon!" The call ended as you moved on, Stepping back onto the molten ground of lava

You saw an ominous structure in the distance surrounded by magma "You see that?" Alphys said overcall "It's the core. It's the source of power in the underground. Inside it is an elevator to Asgore and then you'll be able to go home! So you're halfway..." She ended the call as you stood looking at it "So...Halfway...The underground is a small place..." "You ok (Y/N)?" You wiped off your tears "I'm fine Frisk."
