We escaped

"And what will happen with him? Who knows what has been done to him while we were absent. I just hope he held on. I know he can make it, he mustn't give up!"

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Stockboy is down. Now we need to hurry and get to Raphael. I fear that we won't get there in time, but there was always that spark of hope that kept me going. I'll admit, this hasn't been an easy task at all, and thinking that even my friends are in danger because of me, made me feel such guilt and sorrow. Why did this have to happen?

We were running, still alerted about the guards and other foot clan members. The lair is big, and Raph could be in any room by now! We haven't seen Shredder anywhere yet, so it must mean he is with him. If the guards saw us, we took them down, just to not risk it. The grief and worry inside of me kept increasing with every second we waste, so we mustn't waste any more time!

We were checking inside every room.

But there was no sign of Raph...

When the coast was clear, we would call for him, but he wouldn't respond. Who knows where he could be by now. What if he's held captive by Shredder? What if he was doing some bad things to Raph? What if we don't make it in time? So many thoughts were running through my head, and I barely focused, but I managed to pull through somehow.

"We're never gonna find him!" - I said devastated.

"You can't give up hope, (Y/N)." - Leonardo uttered while looking over at me with a slight, reassuring smile - "Trust me on that."

I sighed and smiled in return.

"Yeah! Besides, Raphie is a strong boy! He will pull through." - Mikey said as he was leaned on a wall with a curtain. Eventually, he felt something on his back as he leaned on it. He got confused as he moved the curtain to the side.

What he felt was a door knob. He just found a secret room.

"Huh? Guys, check it out!" - He said pointing at it with a smile.

"A secret room?" - Donnie said as he gazed upon it - "Should we enter?" - His look traveled over to Leo who was putting away his katanas.

"Only one way to find out." - He surely replied - "C'mon."

He went in first as we followed behind him, this must be the place! The sudden excitement and curiosity of mine was what increased the speed of my heartbeat; I couldn't wait till all of this is done. Raph is there, I am sure of it!

Soon we were able to make out our vision, since it was blurred by the brightness of the lights that got suddenly turned on. We saw Raph. Both of his arms and legs were tied as he was leaning on his knees, his arms high due to the pulling of the strings. He seemed out of conciousness, his head was low, his skin pale. I gasped slightly as I saw him, the brothers widened their eyes.

"Come! Let's get him out of here!" - Leo said as he hurried over towards his unconscious brother. Confusion hit him quickly as he heard a familiar voice.

"Leo, WATCH OUT!!" - Karai yelled as she pushed Leo away just in time. But as soon as she was able to prevent him from getting hurt, a cage fell down on top of her, holding her captive as then soon a laughter could be heard. That same, evil laugh of their worst enemy.
