The action has begun

Raph P.O.V.

Some time after I fell asleep next to (Y/N), I got a call from Leo. I rubbed my eyes as I sat up and took my T-phone, answering it quickly with a still sleepy tone.

"Whatd'ya want, Fearless?"

"You are wanted at the lair. Return home quickly!" - He sounded pretty severe.

"M'kay, fine, fine! I'm comin'." - I sigh and end the call.

I look at her next to me with a frown, knowing she'd be disappointed to see me disappear like that. But I guess that there's no way I can explain my situation to her...no, not yet. I don't wanna lose her right after I've gained her trust again. My feet meet the cold bedroom floor as I stand up carefully, not wanting to wake her up. She looked so peaceful in her sleep, I smile slightly at the sight of her beauty. I gently kissed her cheek and whisper quietly:

"..I'm sorry, (Y/N)."

I made sure she was still covered good as I exit the room slowly and quietly. I walk downstairs and put on my jacket that was still hanging next to the exit door. I put on my gloves and my scarf on and swing open the exit doors. The difference between temperatures were massive, since inside her little apartment, it was pretty warm unlike outside. I shiver at the feel of cold winter air and step through the thick layer of snow. I proceed to walk towards our lair, though it wasn't as easy.

It was still snowing, so it was difficult to see through these clothes I wear, and especially hard to walk. But I continue anyway, knowing that they expect me back home.

As I was getting closer to my home, I hear a familiar sound in the nearby alley. My curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to check it out, even if knowing it might not be the best idea. I hurry in that direction, desperate for some action. What I saw surprised me.

A group of Foot bots were climbing up one of the buildings. I could still catch some of them with the corner of the eye as they disappeared from my sight.

Wait, Foot bots? Now?! Here?! But...why?

I had to know what they were doing, so I hurried to follow them. I climbed up the building with a swift jump, staying in the shadow, spying on them. They were heading towards their old lair, which has awoken more curiosity within me. Heck, I need to know what they were doing!

My eyes followed their every move, and soon, I reached the old Shredder's lair. I've climbed on the building looking through one of the windows, my eyes widen at the sight.

I see a bunch of Kraang bots in there as well, building something with the help of the Foot. Wait a minute...so that means...

The Foot has teamed up with the Kraang?!

I can't believe it. What do they even want? Did they make some kinda deal with Shredder? This means no good. I had to stop them somehow!

I turn around and soon climb down the building, my feet hitting the snow underneath me. The snow was stopping me from running, so I only proceeded to speed walk my way home.

But as soon as I decided to go back and warn the guys about my discovery, the bots were surrounding me.

"Oh, finally some action!" - I say as I spin my-...wait a minute.

I've left my sais at home, since I'm still in my human form. I didn't want (Y/N) to be suspicious about it.

"Ah, sewer apples!"

Nevermind. I guess I'll have to fight with my bare human hands then.

They charge at me, I dodge and start fighting back. They are surely not satisfied of my presence. Fighting the Foot and Kraang bots was easy; I managed to knock them out, until Tiger Claw, Rahzar and Fishface decide to join the fight. Ok, now I'm screwed. But I still didn't give up.

"What is this? I thought I've smelled some turtles here." - Tiger Claw pointed out, noticing my human form.

"It is the one known as Raphael who has changed his form from a turtle to the being which is known as a human being." - One Kraang said aiming his gun at me. Tiger Claw did the same.

Razhar showed his big, sharp teeth as Fishface followed with a cheesy grin.

"Whatever you're try'na do Tiger Claw, it won't work out, ya hear me?!" - I say as I feel rage building up inside of me. I clench my fists hardly as I strike a glare at him. To that, he just lets an evil chuckle.

"And what are you gonna do?" - He smirks. "In your human form, you're not even able to fight without scarring yourself easily."

"The Kraang have told us everything they've seen. You are not even able to keep a girl around you." - Fishface smirks.

To his sentence I clench my fists harder and keep my teeth together. I groan at them all. - "You won't DARE to approach her!"

"Oh don't worry, turtle. She's gonna be my next target, right after I'm done with you." - The tiger shoots at me and I dodge the laser quickly. He then proceeds to charge at me and I have no choice but to fight back with my bare hands.

Within seconds, my T-phone slipped from my pocket and one of the Kraang bots stepped on it, so it breaks. Great, now I have no backup. Soon the edges of my vision turn black as I feel the sudden pain on the back of my head. Tiger Claw hit me with the back of his gun as I fell on my knees almost blacking out. I moaned in pain as I shut my eyes tightly, trying to avoid the pain and get back in the fight. Yet, after some time, I decide to get back up on my legs and face the tiger with a glare. Soon I charge at him with a scream, not the best idea, but my only choice of survival right now. I fail in my decision, but seems like this pussy cat didn't come here unprepared.

Right after he managed to get me off balance, he aimed his gun at me again and shot the bullet right towards me. I screamed in pain and fall on my knees, holding tightly my hurt shoulder with my other hand. Damn, it hurt so much. He approached behind me as well as Fishface and Rahzar; the bots have already fallen back. I feel a heavy foot on my back as it started to crush me down into the cold, white snow. I groaned in pain as the tiger smirked evily.

"Will my plan succeed now, turtle?"

My eyes by now are half closed, yet I kept to keep a glare at them.

"Y-You will not-..s-succeed.." - I say half whispering, ready to pass out. But I tried to stay conscious as much as I could, until Tiger Claw clenched me harder, pushing me to the ground.

Donnie's experiment did not last for so long, as I felt a shell growing on my back again. I felt a change in me and soon I realize...I'm not a human anymore. I'm a mutant turtle again.
