"You can run, but you can't hide!"

I was running out of breath while I was being chased by a strange, deep voice coming from behind me. I knew I couldn't run forever, so I stopped to take some breath. I didn't even know where I was, but it didn't matter, did it? I turned around, instantly facing the direction of where the voice was coming from. I sighed of relief when I didn't see any sign or heard any sound of it. But then I screamed as I turned around facing my worst nightmare. It grabbed me and pulled me into the pure darkness as I screamed in horror.

"NOOO!!"

I screamed as I found myself sitting on my bed. My breath was heavy as I felt sweat on my back and forehead. It was another one of those nightmares. I keep having the same dream over and over again, not knowing what it means. Whatever, it's just a stupid nightmare.

I sat on my bed as my feet touched the floor of my room. With the move of my hand, I unlocked the lockscreen of my phone to check the time. It was exactly 07:30 AM.

"Oh shoot, I'll be late to class!"

I thought as I quickly jumped from my bed and opened my closet that was on the left side of my bed. I found some suiting clothes and changed from my pajamas into those, I made my bed as I then grabbed my phone and tucked it into my pocket. Then I went downstairs to make some breakfast. Since I live alone in my own apartment, I have to take care of myself. As for my parents, well, I never knew them. Well, I don't care at some point. Living alone can be awesome from time to time, but it's also tiring. Not gonna lie, sometimes it gets pretty silent in here. Whatever, I got used to it pretty much.

Since I wasn't hungry I only made some cereal and quickly ate it, I left the bowl and the spoon into the sink as I grabbed my bag and rushed out of my apartment, knowing I'd be late if I don't hurry up. I then proceeded to speed walk, sometimes run my way to the New York high school.

Raph P.O.V.

"What is it this time, brainiac?"

Donnie called me, Leo and Mikey into his laboratory. He was sitting at his computer when we came in, so when we arrived he turned around and faced us.

"Great, you're all here, perfect."

"Did something happen, Don?"
Leo said as he looked at him.

"Well, something IS about to happen."
He smiled.
"You see, I found something that can help us about the Kraang."

Yesterday we found out that the Kraang were going around schools in New York City, doing something suspicious. Fearless told us that we will search for a way to somehow track them down and figure out what they were doing around schools, but there's a slight problem. Four giant, mutant turtles walking around school? Can it be more clear why it's difficult?

"Then show us what it is."
Leo commanded.

"So, I've made this new project that can help us enter the schools without being noticed as mutants. So how it works is that I just click this button here, and put the other one like this, and once I shoot at someone, it should turn him into a human being."
Donnie explained another one of his egghead stuff.

"Wait, HUMANS?!"
Mikey yelled of excitment.

"Yep! And it should turn you into however you see yourself as!"
He added.

Leonardo, being the boring-old leader said
"Don, are you sure that won't hurt somebody?"

"Well, I still haven't tested it out yet, but I've checked if I missed something more than 10 times! It should be fine."

Mikey's eyes lit up
"Yaaay! We will be humans! We are gonna be just like April and Casey! But more prettier!"

Donnie instantly reacts
"April IS pretty! But for Casey, yeah, I agree."

Others rolled their eyes, as well as me. I mean, who can be more handsome than I am? Here's the answer: nobody! Eh, whatever. This means there's only more trouble to come.

TIMESKIP

Y/N P.O.V.

Finally it finished. The chemistry was sooo boring I almost fell asleep, the teacher didn't even seem to care. I sigh. Whatever, I'm glad that it's over. Now the next class should be...ah, music class! Then something hit my head:
"Wait...music class?! Oh shoot! The music we are supposed to perform isn't even finished, and it has to be done until the end of the week! I have to call others and we'll start practicing right away!"

So, our class is hosting a music show, where all students of other classes (at least one of them) shall perform their own song that they've written. My teacher told me that I'm gonna be the main singer of our class, but also I didn't wanna disappoint others so we decided that we are gonna sing together as a group. Some of the students are gonna play the instruments, others will take care of the effects and the looks of the stage, as the left out ones will sing back vocals, and me as the solo. Ooh, boy, ain't this gonna be a fun time? Also, did I mention that whenever I perform in front of somebody, I feel anxious, that is, I get stage fright. But I can't let my class down, we are presenting a main part of our school, since I'm in a senior year. The teachers will have some of their speeches, as well as some students who got rewarded at many competitions and won many awards. I'll be there too, but luckily, I won't have a speech, since I'll just get my reward and that's it. I mean, I don't need extra stress in my life, no thank you.
I sighed as I walked into the next classroom and the music class began.
