Merry Christmas to you too pt. 2

"Raphael? You came home early. Did something happen?" - Master Splinter asked curiously as he saw the young turtle walk in. That was exactly what was bothering him, since he wasn't a human anymore; he was completely changed.

"No sensei, I just wanted to spend time with you guys!" - He lied. - "I grew tired of these unknown people."

"Hm..perhaps you do need some time with your family, my son. Not all humans are understanding as April and Casey are" - He made a fake cough. - "Well, mostly April is the understanding one."

Raph stiffened as the words of that girl immediately echoed through his mind again. But even though, he faked a smile to hide away what he felt inside.

"Hai sensei." - He said as he was searching for a way to change the topic of their conversation. He gasps slightly - "Mikey! Did you dare to open the presents early again?!"

"Eheheh..." - The orange masked turtle gave Raphael a nervous chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck, hoping to not get a slap from his bro.

Raph growled - "Uuugh, Mikey!" - His other brothers started to chuckle in the background as Raph was 'lecturing' his younger orange masked brother. Although he was faking his smile and happiness, he was experiencing a terrible feeling of guilt at the moment, not wanting his brothers nor sensei to hear or see what he feels like.

Leo twisted his expression after he found Raph acting a bit...differently, but he helped his brother by 'covering his secret' in some kind of way. Probably Raph was just tired, or he got into a fight with his human crew, or something else. Could it be that he's feeling like that because of her? Or maybe the short tempered turtle was acting weirdly only in his brother's eyes...Who knows. Except Raph himself.

"He just needs some time to fit in...I'm sure he'll be fine." - Leo thought to himself as he sat down near the fireplace. The fire was sparkling in his sapphire blue eyes, as he watched his family members gather around him one by one. Finally, the rat master came last as he fulfilled their circle they have made. He took out the dusty old book that he has brought with him to share with his family. Their friends, Casey and April, were invited as well, as they gladly listened to what Splinter had to say.

"My sons, April and Casey" - He said. - "Let us remember our moments we had on this exact date many years ago, and let us remember the way we celebrated this holiday together as a family..." - He flipped open that book he had with him, as it turns out, it was actually a photo album. The turtle brothers and two human friends came closer so they can visualize the pictures better.

A wide smile was soon drawn on Michaelangelo's face as he noticed the picture of him and his brothers opening up the Christmas presents.
"Oh, oh look!" - He said joyfully. - "I remember this! This is when I got my unicorn man action figure! Donnie got his microscope, Leo got a Japanese comic, and Raph got Spike!" - He was pointing at his brothers and shouting out the presents that each turtle got that Christmas. Leo smiled, Donnie chuckled slightly, and Raph rolled his eyes with a slight smile.

"Indeed my sons.." - Interrupted Master Splinter. - "Don't you also know that this was our first celebrated Christmas?"

"I do remember that, sensei." - Leo said as his smile got wider. His sensei nodded back at him, never erasing his slight yet joyful smile. "Let's skip to the next page." - He said so, and did it. In this picture, April and Casey joined the crew that Christmas. Casey gave them a smirk and pointed out:

"And this was when your Christmas celebration has gotten cooler, since Casey Jones joined the partay!"

"Hey, April was there too, you know?" - Donnie pointed out half annoyed by Casey's statement. To Donatello's sentence April just giggled and blushed. Donnie's heart skipped a beat when he heard her giggle like that, and he felt his cheeks burn up.
