what i think the loser's would be like in quarantine (this is an apology for posting that last chapter late)

a. bill denbrough
• would hate being in quarantine, because being in the house reminds him of georgie.
• would be on the phone with one of members the loser's club 24/7 even after they fell asleep.
• would probably adopt/foster a dog to help kill time.
• would rearrange his room at least twenty times.
• would write short stories and novels.
• would keep a journal.
• binge watch netflix/disney plus. (and probably watch all of georgie's favorite movies and cry)
• become slightly depressed because his parents won't let him leave the house at all.
• order tons of take out food (probably chinese or mcdonald's)
• actually keep up with the school work his teachers posted because he doesn't want to fall behind.
• film tiktoks or duet his friends tiktoks. and learn new tiktok dances for course.
• bake cakes and cookies and fudge and brownies and anything else that reminds him of georgie, no matter how bad it hurts, because it feels like he is there with him.
• probably would talk his parents into priority shipping full ass cakes to all of his friends since they won't let him leave.

b. ben hanscom
• would so totally talk the librarian into letting him sneak in (and of course she does, because she likes it when children are learning, and she knows it's hard to be cooped up)
• would write bev hundreds of poems and deliver one to her house each day on his way to the library.
• would constantly argue with his cousin and mother.
• text bev constantly; they'd play imessage games.
• start dieting and working out.
• email his teachers about every single assignment they post, making sure they're doing ok.
• would probably break his cousins nose at some point (probably when he found ben's poems for bev)
• would read at least half of the library's books, especially the history section.
• begin cooking for the family, making sure it's healthy meals.
• would definitely become more self confident.

c. bev marsh
• would text ben all the time
• make a scrapbook of all the poems she wrote her
• she would never stay home durning the day. she'd leave before her dad woke up and not return home until he was asleep to go walk the streets all day.
• call/facetime with bill the majority of the time
• sneak into the library with ben some days; he'd bring them both sandwiches.
• the few days her father worked (usually three times a week) she would stay home and practice painting.
• would sit out on her fire escape to smoke at night.
• would take up sewing and/or crocheting and get an early start on christmas presents for all the loser's.
• call her grandmother in florida nearly every day to make sure she's ok
• fight with her dad every time they happened to meet each other in the house, telling him "he's not the boss of her!" and walking out the door.
• would eat a lot of fast food (whatever joint was still open in derry) within walking distance.

d. eddie kaspbrak
• would not go anywhere without a bottle of hand sanitizer.
• text and call non stop with richie, making sure he was staying home and safe.
• attempt suicide a few times via pills, but it didn't work. he wasn't sure if he was upset by that or not. he didn't dare tell richie about that.
• stay in his room, because his mom would scare the hell out of him with horror stories of covid.
• would break down and admit what he did to richie over the phone, who would then sneak over to his house to hold him in his arms.
• would stop watching tv, fearing the ever rising death toll.
• log into bill's netflix account and binge watch scooby doo
• pick fights with idiots on twitter and tiktok
• ask richie to come over ever night to sleep over with him (he did).
• be stuck cleaning his whole entire house because sonja is a fat, abusive pig who can't fucking clean up after herself

e. mike hanlon
• would not have a fucking break from his grandfather's farm.
• would still make meat deliveries to town. sometimes he'd stop and say hi to bev.
• would try his hardest to stay strong, but end up failing and breaking down in the middle of the slaughter barn.
• would finally be allowed to take breaks; would help his grandmother cook and clean in the house. mike liked her job a lot better then his farm work.
• text stanley and bill a lot, along with the rest of the loser's on snapchat.
• send memes from instagram to the group chat.
• post daily inspiration on snap, insta, and sometimes tiktok.
• binge watch good omens a hundred times over
• become his grandparents chef, but he wouldn't mind because he loved cooking.
• would run to the store for his grandparents for the few supplies they needed, wearing the mask his grandmother made him.

f. richie tozier
• would never leave eddie's house
• start playing an instrument (i wanna say something annoying like a flute, but he'd probably take up a ukulele).
• he'd write songs and sing them for eddie quietly, because ms. kaspbrak didn't know he was over.
• he'd finally tell how he felt about him; he almost got a kiss, but eddie would get scared about the virus and back out.
• finally talk eddie into leaving the house; they would take a walk though the woods.
• get confused between which clothes where his and which were eddie's.
• would let eddie paint his nails
• would send random videos of him screaming to the loser's club group chat, pissing almost everybody off, especially eddie because he had to hear it twice
• would become tiktok famous due to the stupid shit he'd post.
• would take long walks through the town alone, enjoying the silence of the usually bustling town.
• keep up with his school work, because he's actually a lot smarter then he acts.

g. stanley uris
• wouldn't be allowed to go anywhere except his house and his father's church.
• would have plenty of time to practice for his bar mitzvah (still fucked it up)
• would be as scared as eddie about the virus; they'd text each other and end up freaking themselves out more
• would start skateboarding in front of his house (bit it a lot) but finally would be able to do a kick flip.
• read a lot of books as opposed to watching tv (it gives him headaches).
• would leave out bits of food for a stray cat, which he'd name patty.
• would "adopt" patty after he gained her trust and sneak her up to his room at night.
• group face time or zoom the loser's constantly
• trim his own hair (it turned out great).
• dress in his mother's fancy dresses when his parents left the house sending pictures to the loser's, who of course, hyped him up.
• would learn how to throw it back. he could do it even better then bev.
• share his first kiss with bill when he snuck over at two a.m. one morning after having a nightmare about pennywise. he didn't leave bill's house for nearly a week, not that bill was complaining.
