Our peaceful slumber with Jun was interrupted when we heard screams coming from the room parallel to ours. The room was dark but I stood up and felt my way through until my hands could flicker the light switch. I instinctively opened the door to check what the commotion is about and I was surprised to see Anne on the other side. Anne and Jun had an exchange while I admired Anne. She looks beautiful as always and I am envious of her skin. She must have some really good skincare routines and I would love to know her secret one day.

We traced the sound to Raizen and Piatrice's room and as soon as Jun opened the door, a toilet paper flew towards his head. Anne did not look pleased with this display and let out a massive scream

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? IT'S 4:30 IN THE MORNING!"

Her scream echoed through the night and it sends shivers down my spine. The hairs on my body stood up and Anne looked as if she was a demon. It was a very scary experience to see her angered like that. I don't want to get caught on her bad side, especially since she might be small but I am confident that she can knock me out. She instructed Jun to take Justin out for a drive, she will comfort Rai, while I comfort Pia.

I was confident that I can comfort her the moment I get to Jun's room. We separated both of them and as soon as Pia was out of their room, she broke down. She hugged me while crying into my shoulders and I was taken back. There's something off in her tears and it wasn't like yesterday, it was very painful. I gently pat her back slowly, trying to get her to calm down. I asked her what happened but she didn't give me an answer. She continued crying on my shoulder and I hugged her even tighter. The door creaking was drowned out by the inaudible sobs of Pia as Jun crept inside the room to grab the keys. I sent him a transmission to respect Pia's privacy and he complied, going out of the room as silently as possible.

I let her cry out her frustrations with Rai as I felt a special connection between us. I heard her heart beating fast and when I hugged her, I then placed my hand on her head and I felt a sudden jolt of energy coursed through me. In that moment, I saw what happened to Pia and Rai. It started with Pia waking up in the middle of the night while Rai was typing things in his laptop

"Rai? It's 2 in the morning, why don't you come sleep with me?"

"I can't Pia, I have to update my story. This is the highest I've ever reached and I can't stop now."

"Come on Rai, what's the worst thing that could happen if you were late by a day?"

Rai stood up and looked away from her and walked towards the door while uttering the words.

"I'm going to get fresh air. I need to clear my mind."

This was enough to upset Pia who immediately ran towards the door and blocked his exit.

"Come on Pia, I just need some fresh air."

"I already know what you're going to do."

Pia then searched Rai for cigarettes he's carrying. When she couldn't find them, she gave Rai and angered look before uttering her words.

"Stop lying to me Rai, I know you're smoking. I told you to stop didn't I?"

"I haven't smoked in a long time Pia, what do you mean?"

Pia clenched her fists and proceeded to yell at Rai.

"STOP LYING! I saw you smoking before you talked with Jun. I'm positive that you have cigarettes lying around here."

Rai didn't take her aggressive tone too kindly but he still replied calmly.

"Pia calm down, the issue at hand is me getting stressed about writing, why did we have cigarettes in the fray? I already told you beforehand that I was saving my final smoke for when I meet Jun."

"Tchh... You're so annoying to deal with. You claim that it's one topic over the other and bend the situation to make it seem like I am the bad guy. I don't understand why I fell for you in the first place."

Rai punched the wall so hard it left a mark on the hardwood. His hand made its way to the doorknob and gripped it firmly while Pia stopped him in his tracks and looked him dead in the eye. Rai's eyes were cold and unforgiving, it seemed like he had just killed a person. Pia might have missed the sign since she was still headstrong but Rai's eyes gave me an uncomfortable look of 'Drop the act Pia, I'm not amused'

Rai let go of the knob and went straight to his laptop he then uttered his next words coldly.

"I'll just figure out what I need to do."

"Tch...Typical, instead of apologizing, you let your pride get the best of-"

Before she could finish her statement, Rai casually tossed toilet paper towards her which angered her even more. She then screamed.

"You're making mountains out of molehills again Rai!"

"You know I don't stress like this over little things"

"Rai look at me, this IS a little thing"

"Dropping from #26 to #63 is NOT a little thing Pia! HOW DO YOU DROP 40 PLACES IN ONE NIGHT?"

"Rai for the last time, MATTPAD RATINGS FLUCTUATE"

"Spare me the pity party Pia, I could feel the quality declining past the 5th chapter"

"Oh god...You want to be down because of this?"

She stopped crying as I witnessed everything unfold in front of me. I want to be as neutral as possible when I pass judgment but this was such a hard call for me.
