Before the sun could break the veil of darkness, I was already up. I could feel Evelyn's soft chest press more into my arm as she cuddled it tightly. I slowly pulled my arm away as the faint red glow flashes at my eyes.

"3:17"

I gently crept towards the AC as I shuffle slowly in the darkness of my room, the boards of my room creak for each step I take but the soft sighs of Evelyn assures me that she's still in a slumber. After I switched the AC off, I gently went outside my room and headed to the room parallel to mine. I felt through the wall until I could feel the light switch and as I opened the lights, I was greeted with a dusty room with the furniture covered in plastic. The ceilings were covered in cobwebs and the white walls now have a gray tint. I immediately closed the door and thought to myself that I could clean it with my friends when they get here.

I went downstairs to check the room parallel to my sister's and was surprised to see the same sight. I felt like I needed to start cleaning so I took off my shirt and turned it into a makeshift mask as I went to the utility closet and grabbed the long broom. I started by taking off the cobwebs from the ceiling and then, brushing the walls as I worked from top to bottom. This room had no windows so I had to take breaks in between just to breathe in the fresh air. It must have taken a while but I am happy to see that the ceiling is clean, the walls are still gray even after I swept it but all in all, it's a start.

I was about to remove the plastic covers when I felt a tiny tap on my shoulder, I looked behind me and there she was with a mop in hand and a bucket of water in the other. She gave me a smug smile as she handed me a towel, I can feel myself turning red. I quickly covered my top naked body to hide my shame as she laughed at me. She then spoke in an endearing manner

"You don't have to cover your body, I've already seen it a million times during high school and if I'm being honest, I like your new body "

I could feel something crawling out of my skin as she mentioned the stupid things I did in high school. I was thin back then and my ribs can be seen if I inhaled, I gained a bit of weight and became normal during college but I'm still not proud of my body. I wiped the sweat off my body and proceeded to sweep the floor. She stopped me while I was sweeping and told me

"I think you should take a break. You shouldn't even be doing this, you have asthma "

I heeded her warning and stopped cleaning, she did have a point since the dust won't go away. She went inside the room and took the broom away from me as she swept the floor. I could feel a sneeze coming up so I went outside and headed upstairs into my room. I quickly changed shirts, made a makeshift mask and went back downstairs. I was surprised that she was finished cleaning the room by the time I got back, it does make sense since the floor was the only thing needed to be swept.

She looked at me with a curious look as she put her hands on her waist while she breathes loudly. She then asked me in an inquisitive tone

"Do you always clean at dawn?"

I gave her a chuckle and replied in a cheerful manner

"Well, not really haha, I'm just cleaning since our friends are arriving soon"

Her cheerful face suddenly disappeared as she looked at me with an awkward demeanor. I could see that something was bothering her by the way her hand suddenly played with the loose cloth in her pajamas. I held her hand and guided her towards the kitchen where I sat parallel to her and asked calmly

"Is something wrong Eve?"

She hesitated to answer at first but then, she looked at me and spoke

"Well, I don't know.... Jun, I don't think you should mention me to them"

Her face contorted into a sad look as she continued

"Jun, I think that my secret is something we should keep to ourselves. I mean, I won't be awkward with them but I don't think I could just run and hug them."

She then looked away from me as a tear fell from her eye. I had to stay strong with what I am about to tell her because I can already guarantee that she will cry. I stood up from my seat and faced her as she tried to hide her tears but I see right through her act. I know she's breaking down so I wrapped my arms around her and told her in a calming tone

"Wally is coming with them"

She couldn't hold the tears back anymore, she laid her head on my shoulders as she wrapped her arms around me. She squeezes tight while shrieking in pain and the only thing I can do is hug her. She was very very close to her twin brother and I am sure that she wouldn't hesitate to hug him as soon as he comes. I held her firmly until she calmed down. When she calmed down, I went upstairs to grab my phone and call Raizen when I heard a car beep loudly. I could hear her footsteps approach me as she said in a panicked manner

"Jun....They're here"
