Something was vibrating from inside my bag beside my head. I forced opened my heavy eyelids and grabbed the bag, putting my hand inside the bag and taking out my phone.
It was the alarm that kept on making my phone vibrating. I turned the alarm off and slowly crawled to the edge of my bed before walked down from my bed.
I charged my phone before I grabbed the towel to take a shower. After I finished taking bath, I took out a long dark green mermaid skirt and a white top from my drawer.
After finished dressing, I combed my hair before tied it in a high ponytail. I don't really use foundation if I go to school so I just put on my favourite lipstick and uncharged my phone before stepping downstairs to the dining room.
Papa was reading the newspaper when I arrived at the dining room.
"Good morning dear", he said as I sat beside him. "Sorry I couldn't take you from school yesterday. There was an emergency call", he apologized dearly.
"No worries papa. I arrived home safely last night", I said smiling before grabbing two glasses on a tray at the center of the dining table.
"Coffee or milk?".
"Coffee please", papa answered so I poured the coffee into papa's cup and carefully poured the milk into mine.
"Mom told me that it was a guy that sent you back home yesterday. Your boyfriend?", papa asked.
I chuckled. "Nope. A friend from the club". Papa raised his left eyebrows, still doubting my answer.
"And where is mom?", my eyes wandered outside the dining room searching for mom. "She left so early today, very busy with the new contract", papa explained, folded the newspaper and took his cup to the sink before he washed it.
"I'll ride you to school?", he offered.
"No, I'm good. I'll take the other car with me to school. I have business at school so going to be home late", I declined, taking more bite of the sandwich, deliciously prepared by mom before she left to work.
"Okay but please be careful, I'm leaving to work, love you my dear", papa approached me and patted my hair.
"You too papa. Be careful and I love you too", I grinned.
I heard papa opened the door and not too long from that, the sounds of car's engine slowly fading.
After finished eating and cleaning the dining table, I grabbed my bag and went outside.
"Revus", I exclaimed as soon as I saw Revus leaning on his car's door. He parked his car at the edge of the road.
"I saw Uncle Alan leaving alone just now. So I thought you are maybe still home and guess what, I'm right", he raised both his eyebrows rhythmically smirking at me. "So?", he opened his front passenger car's door offering the seat for me.
"You know I can drive to school on my own, right?", I hesitated.
He ignored my declination. All of his right hand fingers were pointing to the seat. "Elisha, please", he said decisively.
Both my hands in the air and I
yield. "Okay fine. But make sure I am not burdening you to drive me to school...".
He snapped and grinned, "sure".
"And to send me back to home", I continued.
"HELL YES, SURE!", he squeaked.
I rolled my eyes, chuckled then stepped into his car.
He took the driver's seat.
"Why are you here actually?", I asked him. He looked at me narrowing his eyes. "What do you mean?".
