Randy lifted his eyes, staring at me with hope.

"Let's stop thinking about each other," I demanded with confidence.

His face dropped with obvious disappointment painted on it.

"Isha..." he begged.

"I'm not sure about you but for me, family always comes first," I stood up then grabbed my phone and purse from the table.

"Thank you," I curved a smile and tried my best to look strong in front of him although deep down in my heart, I felt like my whole world was spinning and collapsing slowly.

"Isha, I can see it from your eyes. You want me too, I know that," he pleaded and little did he know, he was not wrong not all. But my family is everything and... Adrian, I don't want to disappoint him. Without even thinking of saying anything to him, I hurried down to the front door.

I knew he would not going to stop and if he kept on begging like that, I didn't know what will happened. I might gave the hope that we both wanted, a false hope that would hurt Randy and I in the future. And the last thing that I want is to hurt him.

I didn't have any idea on what to do to run from Randy since he was the one who brought me here. Asking for his help to send me back home would be the most not-so-clever idea right now.

I turned my back around and as expected, Randy was only two steps apart from me. Yes, he chased me. His determination to be with me was so high and I can see it from the way he was acting.

"Isha..."
"Elisha..."

I confused. I'm sure I heard two people called me in the same time but it's impossible to happen since there were only me and Randy at this moment.

Suddenly, someone patted my shoulder from behind. I whirled around and a figure in black was standing behind me. It was already dark and so hard to identify the figure since there were only few lamps with dim light at this parking lot.

"Take me with you," I said to the anonymous figure. I wished it would be my 'mad' neighbor that sneaked often at what we were doing at home. A funny thing to wish, considering how much I hated being with stranger especially that neighbor I have. He was actually not crazy, but he acted like one so that's why I felt terrified.

"Are you okay?" that anonymous figure asked and I started to get a better look at him after he stepped closer to me.

"Adrian!" I exclaimed. I was so happy to see him and ended up hugging him without realising it. He tensed noticeably but then slowly he leaned closer to me and hugged me back.

"Excuse me," Randy said.

I loosened the hug and looked at Randy.

I inhaled deeply before letting it out.

"Adrian, this is Randy Stell".

Adrian tightened his lips and offered his right hand to Randy while he placed his other hand around my shoulder.

"And Randy this is Adrian Jeckel" I paused as I Randy shook Adrian's hand.

I could feel that the atmosphere became tense when Randy and Adrian fixed their gaze on each other.

I looked at Randy.

"Adrian is my boyfriend," as I said that, Randy's expression turned sour and he looked helplessly from one to the other. I glanced at Adrian and he seems calm with eyes twinkled.

"Is-Isha," Randy stammered.

"Sorry but it's getting dark already and I'm taking Elisha with me. I don't want to make Mr. Alan and Mrs. Alan worry about Isha," Adrian cut him off, nodded politely before taking my hand and pulled me gently to his car.
