the butterflies

It is the Monday. Monday after a short but felt like a very long weekend. After I met Adrian last Saturday, my mind was in a terrible chaos. I spent the next day curled up in bed, barely moving thinking about everything Adrian have said to me.

After we finished eating with me being a total jerk allowing the awkwardness to occupy our atmosphere, he walked me to the car and we drove back home separately after that. He sent me a short text after that saying he was sorry.

I still can't figured out what was his sorry for, and I still don't understand why he was all over my mind when I was dressing up for school this morning. I woke up so early to choose the prettiest pair of clothes I can wear to school and ended up felt even more stupid with me wearing the blue floral dress he mentioned the other day.

The more I think about it, the more I feel like I'm trying to impress him and I feel stupidly embarrassed with myself.

"Elisha", Eleanor popped her head in looking at me figuring what things should I bring from my locker to my Physics class. She walked toward me with Revus behind him.

He looked at me scratching the back of his head nervously.

I narrowed my eyes and he gulped.

"Sorry", he mumbled.

Eleanor who was standing in between us frowned in curiosity. "What happened?", she asked.

Revus smiled bitterly not giving Eleanor any answer.

Eleanor expression became even more confused but turned bright when she saw Michael entered through the main door of the locker room. She left us both and ran to Michael.

"I apologise", he said, looked down.

I didn't respond immediately making him lifted his head and blinked continuously. "Please, I'm so sorry", making puppy eyes.

I rolled my eyes, pouting. "Okay, fine. But promise me, no more after this".

His eyes glowed. "Okay sweetheart", he kissed my cheek.

"Hey, don't you dare!", I whined startled with his sudden action.

"Ahem."

Both our head turned to the door looking at Adrian.

He leaned against the door with eyes stucked on me, arms crossed near his chest. He smiled charmingly looking at me from top to bottom making me blushed but turned serious when his eyes met Revus.

"Hey, Adrian. She forgive me already", Revus said. Adrian nodded and left after saying "but that kiss is absolutely not necessary".

"He told me to ask you for forgiveness", Revus explained before he ran shouted calling Adrian to wait for him because they both have Art class for the first period of the day.

Few minutes later after I finished handling my things, I saw Eleanor bid Michael goodbye before she approached me.

"Cafe?" she asked.

I nodded approving the plan.

We arrived at the cafe with Mrs. Ravinson beaming at us with her good morning wish. We bought foods and sat on one of the table in the cafe.

We ate silently, both busy with phone in the hand. She texted Michael who was bored in his Geography class and I scrolled through my Twitter, giggling over funny videos that appeared on my timeline.

"Isha", suddenly Eleanor broke the silence chain.

I nodded for her to continue speaking.

"Everyone look different today. You, Revus and Adrian".
